Like many people I love love taking pictures with my phone. With nearly 2000 followers on Instagram, I can say I'm pretty good at it. I particular love taking photos of nature and landscapes, and this camera lens just changed my life!I have a Samsung Galaxy S6, which already takes stunning photos (really one of the best in the market right now). But this camera lens just blew up my photos! With the wide angle lens I'm now able to properly capture those gorgeous landscapes that are so hard to capture in photos. There is hardly any distortion, I think something to do with the fact that the lens reduces bending around the edges, which is great. And then the 10x zooming ability, wow...! I've been able to capture details I didn't know was even possible with a smartphone. And the photo turns out super sharp and rich, I'm impressed.One of the reasons I love using my phone as my sole photo camera is obviously because of it's portability and compatibly. I was always hesitant to buy lenses or other products for my phone as I thought it would just make it bulky. But this product doesn't do that at all because it doesn't require special mounts etc., but still fits greatly with my phone, or even on my case when I use that. And all of that while still being made out of super strong material, it really doesn't feel cheap - in contrary, it makes me feel like a professional! And I loved the free photo guide that came with this product, a lot of great tips and tricks to get the maximum out of this product. Taking beautiful photos has just become so much more fun and easier! And my recent photos on Instagram are really getting much more likes, so I really notice the difference!

This has the same design flaw as the PocketLens (same design, different color). The black rubber stopper pushes into the lens hole and pops the macro lens out rendering the product useless. If the rubber piece was lengthened so as not to be pushed into the lens area, I would give 5 stars. The image quality is good, but not if you can't use the product.

This is a useful tool for extending smartphone camera capability, but you shouldn't have unrealistic expectations. The wide angle function suffers from severe barrel distortion at the edges of the image. You can minimize that by zooming in slightly with your camera's built in controls, but then you are defeating the purpose of a wide angle lens. I consider the wide angle function essentially useless on this attachment. If your phone supports panorama features, you would do better just to take a couple of side-by-side photos and let the phone software stitch them together for you.The macro feature suffers from the opposite problem at the image edges -- pincushion distortion. In this case, however, zooming in can improve your photo by giving you the impression of an even closer photo of a small object while reducing unwanted curvilinear effects. The thing to look out for here is that most smartphone cameras don't have optical zoom and use software to enlarge portions of a fixed image. The best close-up photos using this add-on will be taken with only limited use of zoom. Zooming all the way in on something in conjunction with the macro function of this lens will give you an amazingly close view of a tiny flower or insect's face, but image sharpness can be much reduced. Still, if you like insects and images of small structures like the hinges on eyeglasses, it is possible to get some good images from this attachment. Remember that close-up photography takes a steady hand. It will be helpful to develop techniques that rest the camera frame or your hand against a stable object while taking a picture of something only an inch or so away.Overall: macro function satisfactory, wide-angle function disappointing.I have used this clip-on lens with recent Apple, Nexus and Lumia smartphones. It works about the same on all of them, though some protective cases may not have a lens cut-out wide enough to let this lens fit flat against the phone case as intended. Many do have large enough cut-outs, however.

I have been taking a lot of photos with my iPhone over the last year or two and using my camera less and less often. I was very interested in finding a macro lens because I find this is where my iPhone 6 is lacking.So far I'm pretty impressed! The lens came packaged wonderfully. Each piece (the lens' and holder) was packed in a seperate section of foam in the box. Very safe to travel with.The lens screw on and off of each other, the base is the macro and the one that screws on widens the lens. The plastic lens holder fits tightly into the lens' and it fits tightly on my iPhone 6, case and all!I was impressed with the macro lens immediately. You really have to get up and close to your subject but it is incredibly handy if you are looking for that tight f2 stop type photo.The wide lens really helped to elongate the photo on both horizontal sides. I think this would be great for large group photos, sporting events, concerts etc.Overall I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I'm happy I finally looked into additional iPhone lenses! I was able to purchase this lens set at a discount in exchange for my honest review. All opinions and observations stated above are my own and I in no way am obligated to provide a positive review.

PROS- adds a nice wide angle- portable for everyday use- fairly inexpensive (although shop around might be other same quality lenses for less)CONS- the lens holder is plastic (looks metal in the pictures)- very slightly adds a little blur to the pictures but not enough to notice unless you maximum zoomBought this to hold me off until the new gopros are released soon.For what it does I would recommend the purchase*UPDATE*consistent removal & install of the lens did scuff my iPhone 6 lens.. be cautious- also majority of these reviews are from people who received this product free from the company.. keep that in mind
