HaywardGLX-CTL-RITE Control Unit Replacement for Hayward AQR Goldline Aqua Rite Salt Chlorine Generators

I’m really amazed at how quickly this order was completed. From the time I ordered the Swimming Pool Salt Water Chlorine Generator, until the time I finished the installation and successfully tested the replacement, was less than 24 hours. I don’t know how you did it, but Hats Off👍!

This was a and exact replacement for my old chlorine generator.

This was an exact Replacement and it resolved my issue. Initially, I had no lights on the Chlorinator. I tried repairing the old chlorine generator by soldering on a new Thermistor like many others did. It did fix the light issue but the "no flow" light was on. I replaced the Flow Switch twice but "No Flow" light was still on. I then concluded the Salt Chlorinator must be bad. I ordered this replacement. Installation was quick and easy and the "No Flow" light was now off and the "Generating" light was on. All functioning as it should. I was very happy with this purchase.

Fits nicely on the wall next to the 220 box and above the T-cell, hangs nicely on 4 lag screws on the wall and can be easily taken in in winter.

Replacing old AquaRite panel. None of my pool companies could buy the old model I wanted. Since they’re available on Amazon, I paid $1100 for panel and $200 for someone to install it. That’s versus $3000 for a completely new system. I don’t want to control my chlorinator from my phone!

Liked that it shipped quickly. I’m not savvy like installing this so had a local pool company install it for me. Our old board lasted for years and years so I know it’s quality from my experience. The new one has been running great since installing it a couple of months ago so this control board is reliable. Big fan of Hayword products.

Old Hayward control box is at least 18 years old. Minor problems from time to time that I was able to repair. Not this time. Ordered this replacement as "used" but there wasn't anything wrong except the mounting flanges we slightly bent. Easily fixed. Saved about 40% off a brand new unit. Very satisfied and expect another 18 years of reliable service.

This is the third one of had in our pools existence and they are lasting less and less. This last one was just over the year mark. Such a rip off to pay this much and only last the warranty year to have to spend that much all over.
