Stainless Steel Bento Box Lunch and Snack Container for Kids and Adults, 5 Sections

When I started shopping for a metal bento box for myself for my lunches, I was shocked at how expensive they were. I settled on this one because it had the best reviews and price point, and I have NOT been disappointed. The lid fits well, it's easy to clean, the sections are a good size, and it packs nicely in my lunch boxes. There are *some* small gaps under the divider walls, so if you have something runny it will seep under, but it hasn't bothered me.

This year she wanted pasta almost every day, so I had to be careful of the sauce, but she loved cute lunches and was more willing to eat real food instead of packaged snacks.Don’t just throw it in a bag, the lid will come off. It fits perfectly into a Thermos lunchbox with a zipper. Or part of the year we tied it in a cloth wrap. Rubber bands would also work if there is nothing drippy. The sections don’t keep liquids contained, which is why we use the little containers for sauce, ranch, or Nutella.Washes well in the dishwasher, but if you leave it submerged in water for several days, you run the risk of rust spots on the section seams, but not as sensitive as canning jar lids.Overall, it’s been a good year, and we plan to use it again next year.

I wanted something that didn’t have plastic and would be great for my daughters lunch. The compartments seemed great for options like carrots, pretzels and hummus. But the compartments leak so when I put the hummus in one it leaked all over the other food so she had soggy pretzels and hummus on strawberries. If you’re giving just dry food this will work for you. If you like to give anything that’s wet then don’t get it.For the washing - it doesn’t wash well. It’s hard to tell when it’s clean because it turns this slate dirty color until it’s dried then you notice oh there’s something in a corner. I tried the dishwasher and I still feel like it wasn’t clean.

Love this. Great size but after washing the lid can warp and come a bit lose. You need to bash it back to coose

The container is self is pretty solid and basic stainless steel. However, there are some gaps between compartments that made juice from fruits run into the next compartment making other food soggy. Good for try snacks

I have bought higher end bento boxes, and honestly these are way better. Kids love the space options. It’s so much bigger and cleans up very well. Win for our 3 kids ages 11, 9 and 7!

Recommend It : has nice divisions for a variety of foods and snacks for my kids lunch box. The best is the height, it is under 2” so I can send 2 containers in the lunch box and close it , see the picture next to a cheese stick. We bought this one and the smaller quad option and I can fit them both and the water bottle in the Lands end hard sided lunch box, that is same size as PBarn’s lunch bag. Perfect for what we were looking for. I will try to add a picture later. It does not claim to be leak proof and we packed mostly veggies and fruits, meats and crackers without issues, but I would not try yogurt and things like that . Juices may run under the divisions so we use silicone cups when needed . Also the sistema mini sauce containers fit inside it without issues to close it. We have had these in the dishwasher and as you can see the stickers the kids added started to fade, it’s ok, reason for them to replace it every so often and have some fun making it more personal. The beat part for us is the price, right into our budget. And the lids also close properly and snug but are easy for my little kindergartner to open .
