I like the fact that it has the date dial on top so you can keep track of when you put the coffee in it.It also came with a couple of the freshness seals in case something happens to the one in it. Also came with a handy metal scooper to dig your coffee out. While the scoop is a little big for K-cups, it is perfect for making a whole pot as you can load more coffee into the filter.Must buy, at the very least, MUST TRY!

I've been using these canisters for a few weeks now and am very happy with them. The seals are perfect and the latching mechanisms work smoothly. Taking the lids apart to wash then reassemble was easy. Both canisters feel well made so I'm hopeful that they'll last a while, though only time will tell.I think the gray canister looks and feels nicer, but I'm glad that this set came with different ones because that makes it easier to grab the one I want when I wander into the kitchen for my morning brew. Also, the set was reasonably priced.The only thing I didn't care for in this set is the scoops that come with it. The cutaway bit in the handles may be stylish, but I don't think it's practical given what they're supposed to be used for. I think solid handles would be better. Admittedly, this is a very small gripe, and I'm just using the scoops I already have.A few extra filters are included in the package. That's nice, but there's no guidance as to when to change them. Searching through the questions here, it looks like a single filter could potentially last years. That's great, but I wish that information were easier to find.On the whole, these containers seem very good and I'm happy with my purchase.

i've had this for a while it is air tight keeps the bugs out hasn't rusted yet. i know stainless steel isn't supposed to rust but it does in florida. i haven't vacuum sealed it after opening and i can't tell the difference between stale or fresh coffee anyway so i don't know how well it works in that regard but i don't expect it to be better or worse than other containers. i like the look of it. i like the scoop it came with and the fact that it attaches to the container. i don't know what they're charging for it now but i think i spent 25-30 for it is it worth it? i would say it is not overproced at $30 but is it better than a ziploc bag or a plastic canister i thnk that aesthetics plays a bogger part in the decision to buy it it is definitely more indestructible than a bag or a plastic container but it just plain looks nicer
