Simple Grid Charger System for Honda Insight 2000-2006 with Discharger

Used this on my 2000 Honda Insight. Battery had developed a memory and would only discharge about 20% from full charge. It took a few discharge/charge cycles before the full charge voltage was back to normal. Discharging the battery is a little nerve wracking. I accidently went to low a couple of times because it is very hard too predict the discharge rate. The battery seems to be working fine though.

Works great, my insight battery is working like new again. Installation was very easy and instructions were clear. The wrong cable sent but seller quickly responded and sent the correct cable super fast. Good customer service.

Only marking off one star for pictures not completely matching. The lights were smaller and the mount was smaller. Other than that, the instructions gave a complete picture on how to install. If you're savy, you can install this in less than 30 minutes. Saved my gen 1 insight battery, worth every penny.

Worked perfectly. Revived my battery. Now I am constantly at 90% battery power and that’s after discharge to 120, charge full with charger, then discharged to 100, then let it charge for about 16 hours. Fantastic! Super easy to install the wiring harness as well.

Pretty easy install. Instruction were good. Immediately fixed my IMA light and check engine light. Car drives a lot better and IMA system works like brand new. Very pleased.

Installed it on my 2002 insight I purchased with a non functioning IMA. To my surprise after just a 15 min test of the charge my battery started working! Car finished the charge itself over the next 50 miles and haven’t looked back! I plan on monitoring IMA battery with cycle charges at 6 month intervals.
