Came quick, beautiful illustrations, cute stories for young children. Even my 9 year old loved the stories.

What a sensible author is Dav Pilkey! I love his work. I love Little Pettey and Dog-Man. Now, I love the Dragon!!! :-)

My 4.5 year old son liked the stories.

{My thoughts} – I really enjoyed this book. I have not read this series previously to reviewing it recently for Scholastic.Dragon is a fun character that hears a cat meowing outside his door. He tries to get it to come in time and time again but it just sits there. Eventually he picks it up and takes it in his house. He then has other issues, cause he has no idea how to care for a cat.The words on the pages are written in an east to understand manner. The illustrations help the child to better understand the story. I think this is a great book to pick up for beginner readers. It is also a wonderful book to help show children how hard it can be to be a first time pet owner.I look forward to reviewing more books in this series in the near future!

The Dragon books are a huge hit in my house. They are fun for my kids to read themselves, and Dragon’s antics are always hilarious.
