2019 Salomon QST 99 Skis w/Tyrolia Attack2 13 Bindings

After skiing 5 days on this package I am pleased so far. At 73 years old, I don't ski as aggressively as I used to but still tackle the bumps when they get in the way. I came off Salomon skis that at 193 cm got to be too much for me to swing around quick turns. These skiis turn very quick and predictably. I ski mostly groomed runs but have skied on gravelly ice balls and snarky patches of ice and with new sharp edges, they have decent grippage. They float higher in powder than my old narrower skis did. The only complaint I have about the skis is, being so wide, when I quick turn the skis to come to a slide stop the skis chatter on hard pack groomers which is annoying, makes me feel I'm on a snowboard (which I never have tried but I've seen others boarders come to a similar teeth rattling stop). The bindings work like they're supposed to, Haven't fallen yet so I haven't tested the release. I did notice the safety brakes being so wide to accommodate the wide skis sometimes get tangled when pulling the skis apart. Overall, I am pleased with this ski/binding combo.
