I use these jugs for storing water in the fridge, because the standard transparent blue ones did not hold up to regular use and kept breaking or leaking. So far I have three of these and they are performing very well. They seem sturdy enough, except that they are definitely not built to be carried by the handle when full. There is simply not enough reinforcement of the plastic tracks for where the lid screws on, I have no doubt that after a couple of times carrying them that way the plastic would wear down and there would be a lot of water everywhere. That is the only issue I have had with them, other than that they are useful. I like that they collapse down for transport when they are empty.

Used for my kid's 5th birthday. No leaks, works great. Can expand half way and full with soda and not have an issue with soda carbonation in a contained space.Only complaint is I bought this one specifically because it was amazon prime compatible. 2 day shipping is fine and all but 5 day processing is insane. I ordered 3 other prime items at the same time and they came before this one had even shipped. Still got it in time but be prepared not to get it for 7-8 days.

The bottom seems to leak a little if you press in on the base. I won't be moving it around a lot so its okay.

Received this yesterday and am very pleased. Saw that some of you complained about it being difficult to expand. You need to open the valve or take off the top to pop it up. Otherwise you could damage the seal between the base/top and the middle and cause a leak. I agree it might be hard to clean but soak it as soon as you are done and it should be OK.

1 - took two adults ages to extend jug2 - one any liquid is in, it it near impossible to move. The bottom not top screws on tightlyI can only see any decent use during a kid's outdoor party.

For the price I was pleasantly surprised at how great this cooker was! It didn’t leak a drop! We used it for a pub crawl (on the bus) but will also use it camping. Don’t expand it without taking off the lid or at least opening the valve or you will break the seal.
