Argus BB-DCM12-90 Battery Bug Deep Cycle Battery Monitor for 20-90Ah Batteries

Insulation was falling off the leads straight out of the packaging. I tried to fix it with heat shrink tubing but it stopped reading the battery properly after that. Don’t waste your money.

I ordered this unit and when I first installed it, it didn't work. BUT, I contacted the manufacturer and they exchanged the item because there was a known issue with the battery I was using and they upgraded the unit to the next level. I received the updated unit and it works perfectly. It's great to have a company stand behind their products!!!

Within one use the heat wrap started cracking off the wires. This is not safe, you can see where the bare wire is fully exposed on certain areas.Aside from this glaring issue, the rest of the product seems pretty good and does what I need.

I have used these before and liked them, I bought 2 of them and the wire is old and the insulation falls off I had to change the wire on it and it sometimes comes up with and error.

Like most of the reviews received item and right out of the package the wire insulation is cracking off.
