As firefighters, we’ve seen it. No one can predict the future. You could face a survival situation 5 minutes from now – on your drive, at work, at home, or on vacation. Survival situations arise without a moment’s notice. Be prepared with this paracord watchband by Fireline. How does it work? The watchband unravels into a tough cord. When needed, quickly detach the 7-yard cord from your watch. Then unravel into 2 sections. Each section is 5.5 feet long and has a minimum breakage strength of 550 lbs. The cord can be used for a variety of tactical and survival needs including shelter, food gathering, and tracking. Who needs it? Our unisex paracord watchband can replace any normal 22mm watchbands. It attaches easily, and our band comes pre-woven and ready to use – no need to send your watch out to have the band woven on or have to weave the band yourself. Upgraded details like stainless steel fixtures and inward-facing cord ends mean you will look great while having peace of mind that you’re protected in any situation. A must-have for preppers, scouts, campers, hikers, and anyone who likes to wonder off in to the woods without a plan. This Fireline watchband is risk-free and stand behind our product. This is not just a replacement watchband or a new bracelet, it’s survival.

Quality item but room for improvements
I ordered the green version which only comes in large I guess??? It fits a bit big for me to wear on workouts but it will work decent as a casual normal activy band. My reviews is as follows:First off, it is a quality item. Hands down. My only issue is that the pins that attach to the watch's face (galaxy s3 frontier) do NOT lock in place on the band. They sit freely in the adapter making it tricky to take off and clean without have the pins fall out.I do like the band and what it represents. I will most likely continue to use it on a casual basis, it will not work for going to the gym and tracking my workouts and health states. The fit is too lose even on the tightest setting of which there are only three. The latching brackets are a bit clunky which makes adjustments a pain.Things that would make this a 5 start item:A way to secure the pins into the band.Better sizing and or adjustments.Dimensions for each size available.A easier latching mechanism as this one is a bit hard to do one handed.

one of the pins that hold the band to the watch broke off causing me to drop my $300+ smart watch while carrying someone down stairs (I work EMS)
I purchased this band about a week ago...one of the pins that hold the band to the watch broke off causing me to drop my $300+ smart watch while carrying someone down stairs (I work EMS). Needless to say I threw out the band and went back to the stock Samsung band!

Great band
Really like the band but it was a little big and had to be adjusted. Have not had an issue with the screw coming out. Thanks guys. I use it every day.

(Updated) Excellent product, fantastic customer service
So, the watch band came on time, and the quality of the band itself is fantastic... However it is defective at the mounting bracket. One side was put on the band backwards so that the quick release spring pin is visible from the face of the watch. See picture.Very disappointed as I was looking forward to showing off this awesome band at work tomorrow.***Update***Elevating to five stars because the seller has provided excellent customer service and the overall quality of this watch band is stellar!

Good band
Ok, so I like this watch band. It's the best one I have purchased by far. What I like about is that it's well made and that it's more than just a band it's a survival tool. It's heavy but easy to get used to. I know 5/50 cord cause I was in the military and we used it often. I like that it's firefighter owned but couldn't tell by the description of any proceeds get donation to any service organizations.Ok, so what I dont like about the band is the clasp. Although it can also be used in survival it is so hard to put on with one hand. I struggle every morning. I ordered a large and have to wear it on the outer most setting. I think a different mechanism would be better, perhaps a well made locking D ring would be better and also useful in survival. Likewise the pins that secure it to your watch could have a better design. Initially putting it on isn't the easiest but once it's on as long as your not switching bands theres nothing wrong with it.Overall the band is good just could use some design work.

Great but too big.
Product is well made and heavy duty. It look good when it's sitting right. The only problem is the size. I am not a small guy by any means but I have it on the smallest setting and it's still way too big. So I'm not sure what wrist they used as a guide but I wouldn't want to meet the person it's attached to in a dark alley. Also fyi it just fits on the Samsung galaxy watch. You will need to work on it for some time to get it in. I may end up filling it down just a bit to be able to angle it in. You have to bring it straight in with both sides of the pin compressed. Not sure how I'll get it off. I change bands all the time based on attire and function. If you keep the same band on forever it won't be an issue.

Great Product, Very Well Made
This is a nice watchband. It looks good, different from most others, and it fits well. The clasp is just a shackle, so it is not very easy to put on. They do give you an extra shackle pin in case you lose one, which is nice. I just wear it all the time, since it can handle getting wet in the shower. I wear it with my Citizen Blue Angels watch, and I bought the black with blue stripe band because it matches the blue of the watch. I guess I should have realized it was a "thin blue line" item. I wasn't really trying to make a political statement. Still, I will wear it every day. Maybe someday I will replace the black shackle with a nice shiny stainless one. Also nice that the pins that hold the band to the watch are the "quick release" ones with a little handle to release them. So much better than digging around between the band and the watch case with a screwdriver or a razor blade.

Sizing is massive, please make ‘small’ available
I bought a medium sized band, the smallest size available, and it was so massive it was unwearable and I was forced to return it. I’m an average sized guy, 5’10”@180lbs, fyi. A small sized strap would fit, but that size is apparently not being manufactured for some bizarre reason. The quality of the product is very good and if small became available I would consider buying.
