I got this set for detail work for my oil painting. The handles are comfortable and the bristles have held up well. Anyone that paints knows brushes all have an expiration date and will eventually need to be replaced, but as long as you clean them well and use gel to put the bristles back into place while they dry, they'll last a long time. They hold oil paint well and spread smoothly. I'm very happy I got this set I needed a fresh batch to get the best performance while I paint. <3

I need very fine tipped brushes for exacting detail work on very small figures. After removing the water-soluble stuff from the tip of the two finest point brushes in the pack I purchased, the tips were discovered to be bent over. The picture shows the problem. Maybe it's good for painting 'around corners'? I don't know. Very, very disappointing.

Purchased these to paint the miniatures for Pathfinder. They work wonders and are very easy to clean/remain shape. They are very comfortable for your hand and easy to use especially when painting minis how they can take a long time with detail my hand didn't get tired sore or anything from these brushes.

These may not cost an arm and a leg, but do not let you think these brushes are anything but great. I have used them with several different paints and the brushes apply the paint well and evenly and clean up very well. Very happy with the purchase.

They look great, easy to hold, and offer precision control as long as you trim the many, many stray bristles on the brush.anything bigger than the medium size is pretty much a completely imprecise brush that I use to slather on nuln oil.
