White Marble Pastry and Cutting Board, 16 x 24 Inch

This product is crafted well and smoothly polished. The rubber feet are useful. The problem I have is that the unit I received had a large flaw in the veining that's visually unsightly.As with any stone, all pieces are unique and there's no way to ensure that the pattern is uniform, but the manufacturer can reject a slab due to cosmetic imperfections during quality control inspection. For an item that is going to be on view in my kitchen I think both the function and form should be of equal consistency.In the end I returned it because I found a local kitchen supply vendor who was selling a nearly identical unit with flawless veining for half the price.

The packaging could have been better, it's definitely from Taiwan. Nice veining, and color though. Good thickness. The feet, however, are very hard plastic, not rubber as advertised. They are useless for keeping this heavy board from sliding on the counter top.

This looked like a great deal. There was an item at William Sonoma the was almost exact for 3 times the price. Unfortunately it arrived cracked in half. The manufacturer did not pack this with any protective wrappings and a flimsy box. This was a very heavy item and should have been better packaged. There were no instructions on the outside of the box for delivery. Too Bad! It was other wise a nice looking item and would have been perfect......

I was so impressed when I received my pastry board. The marble makes it a work of art in itself, and there's weight to this piece - I can feel it is a quality piece that will last! LOVE IT!!
