pure EAAS plain and simple
I’ll go ahead and say it so people understand it’s to be expected- whatever you mix this with, it will smell like someone farted into your water bottle. I mix mine with water and some sort of crystal lite type drink mix (i’d recommend doubling the amount you’d normally use to mask the taste) other than that it will have a slightly chalky bitter aftertaste but this isn’t used to enjoy a flavorful delightful beverage. This stuff is quality , it works as it should, it’s effective . If you don’t know what EAAs are used for then you shouldn’t be buying it anyways.

(Please Read for Factual Information)
Way too many people on here are leaving reviews don't know anything about supplement manufacturing and labelling guidelines and it shows. Below, I'm going to provide a detailed review, if you want the short version, skip to the very bottom, look for "TLDR." Firstly, I would like to comment on a review stating that they changed their formula, since this is my field of occupation, I am very much qualified to speak on this matter. For one, they didn't change their formula, they updated the supplement facts as there were several updated FDA guidelines that all supplement manufacturers need to follow, especially if you're following GMP guidelines. And second, including all of these ingredients as a proprietary blend, as the name implies, protects their dosages, as it is very easy for someone off the street to provide a manufacturer a quantitative formulation, and knock it off, but also the dosages can no longer be freely stated on the label. Enough said. Per their website, they do follow ingredient testing, as GMP advises, so regarding the formulation and the formula itself, nothing is changed, chill out keyboard warriors. Let's talk about the product itself! The powder is very, for the lack of a better term, powdery, if you're not careful, it will get everywhere! The form is as it should be, like flour, just ignore the smell, that's what real EAA smells like. Taste: it's unflavored obviously, and awful as it should be. While you could spend a little more to get a flavored version from other sellers, I bought this one for it's amazing value, and in doing this, you have to accept the caveat of it being completely disgusting. So you definitely want to mix it with something, you can't take it straight from the spoon like creatine. Use: everyone has their own routine use for this supplement, personally I practice intermittent fasting, specifically a meal every 48 hours full of protein, and to improve protein synthesis I take this at morning and at night. Unfortunately, since I do fast, I don't have the luxury of mixing this with juice, and have to mix it with decaf coffee, first world problems right? Results: you can definitely tell this is 100% EAA, usually in the morning ghrelin is telling me that I'm hungry, and immediately after taking my EAA it will curb the hunger completely. For those trying to put on muscle, this is definitely a great addition to your routine. This has improved my performance and the gains in the mirror and scale are apparent! TLDR: The product formulation has been updated per new labeling guidelines to protect their proprietary blend, dosages were not changed. I highly recommend this product, especially if you practice fasting. If you're new to EAA, mix it with some juice or something to mask the natural bad taste. With a solid routine and thoughtful nutrition, you can expect this to be a great arsenal in your quest to more lean muscle mass.

Should have known
This was the third product I’ve purchased from this company with only poor experiences. I carry a large 60oz water bottle with me to work everyday and thought it would be nice to be able to add a little something to it so it’s more beneficial than just the water. The description said that it was flavorless and dissolves well. This sounded great since I add a small amount of flavor already to my water. I added the amount it said to mix with a glass of water (8oz) to my 60oz bottle. You would think more water would be better for mixing and diluting any flavor that might be present. I shook my bottle for close to an hour total and I was still getting chunks of powder when drinking. On top of that there is most definitely a flavor and it’s horrible. If the flavor is this strong in 60oz I can’t imagine if you were to add it to just a glass. The last two items I purchased from this place were also in powder form and claimed to be flavorless and they weren’t. I was really hoping the third time would be a charm for this but it was a dud. Sadly I will be avoiding this company and buying my supplements elsewhere.

Worth the taste?
I am only two weeks into taking this. Like everyone else says- it smells and tastes horrible. I tried coffee, flavored electrolytes, and in food- yuck to gross in all of them. What finally worked? Orange juice! Do they work? Honestly, I didn't notice a difference in hunger or muscle but it has only been a week so we will see. But try it in OJ!

Essential amino acid: what an awesome product
I’ve been taking EAA From Bulk supplements for over a year now and I’ve noticed hey, significant difference and it works very well at least for me I’ve taken in powder form and in Capsule form. Power form is the affordable way to go. Capsule form is the easy way of not having to deal with the taste. I love Bulk Supplements it is a reliable at an affordable cost for high-quality supplements. The products are pure, don't contain fillers, additives, or other junk. The EAA powder is very disgusting, but that’s why I add flavored powder mix with no sugar, sometimes I mix with electrolyte powder mix. I only add about 6 to 8 ounces of water. I do what I Gotta do for a great product that works well for me. It’s a product that I recommend And I standby them by saying this product works It mixes well in room temperature water With no clumps. Some people complain about the bags, not sealing Properly well after a while of opening and closing, and when you get the powder in between the Ziploc, it does not, but I always put my powder mix in a glass jar with the bags that prevent from getting moisture inside and that works well and It does not come with the scooper, which is another thing that does not bother me at all. I take 10g in the a.m. and 10g in the p.m. 4-5 days out of the week And sometimes I just do it once a day there are also times that I do not take any supplements for a few weeks but you gotta figure out what works best for you.

Awful taste , strong taste
I don't how well the amino acids work. The taste although is absolutely awful. It tastes like aspirin powder. It really has a strong overpowering taste. Even with bananas, vanilla protein, and coffee syrup you can still taste the bad flavour

Great EAA’s & value
Great EAA’s & value. Yeah it doesn’t taste or smell great but they’re EAA’s what do people expect? Lol of course EAA’s don’t taste good. The only way you’re gonna get EAA’s that don’t have that are ones with extra junk added like artificial sweeteners. I just take it with my protein shake at the same time which covers the bad taste a little. But note that yeah, on its own, super gross haha. Still very worth it to me. Edit: I had one batch that smelled more than usual so I left the bag open for about a day & the stronger scent went away. That can happen to EAA’s if exposed to heat for too long. Don’t expect it to get rid of a regular level of smell that comes from EAA’s though, EAA’s that don’t have artificial sweeteners & stuff are gonna naturally smell anyway. I got EAA’s from Now Foods previously & they have the a similar taste & smell as Bulk Supplements. I’ve stuck with Bulk Supplements for ~2 years now on my EAA’s due to price & the COA I requested on one batch showed a good leucine profile with 3g leucine per serving.

High quality, no additives
I am in my 70's, and my son suggested a couple of years ago that I take essential amino acids to improve my protein intake. I have been taking another brand, but now they are adding a bunch of other things. I only want the amino acids! So I tried this from Bulk Supplements, since I had purchased other powdered supplements from them before, and they sell high quality products. Amino acids aren't the best tasting things, but the essential amino acids aren't really nasty like some of the non-essential amino acids. I decided to mix one compressed tablespoon of the Bulk Supplements EAAs in 14 oz. of water with 5 ice cubes, and for flavoring I used freeze dried packets of lemon, lime, or grapefruit, with 2 tiny scoops of stevia; then shake that up and drink it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, at least 20-30 minutes before eating anything else containing protein. I don't actually feel hungry until about 11:30 am or later. When I first tried these EAAs by Bulk Supplements, I took out the scientific scale our grandson used for his science project, and weighed the powder. It actually came to 10 grams for a tablespoon and 1 teaspoon (1-1/3 tbsp), exactly as stated on the bag. I'm too lazy to use two measuring spoons, so I use one tablespoon and get slightly less. Taking these Bulk Supplements EAAs gives me more energy and strength for daily tasks and for my exercise routines. I love these, and I immediately like these better than what I was taking before. I highly recommend these Bulk Supplements EAAs. UPDATE: Now I am using 1 TB Bulk Supplements EAAs, 2 scoops (1/32 of tsp.) Stevia, and 2 TB Silicia Organic Lime juice, shaken with 14 oz of water and 5 ice cubes. I do this when I wake up, and then again before going to bed. I am figuring 33 gr of protein per tablespoon, based on comparing it with vegetarian protein. Does anybody have a better estimate of the protein equivalent??
