Great Value For the Price!
For the price you can’t go wrong! Thick, but soft. The comfort was perfect, but since I Mountain Bike, I would probably get a size bigger next time because I couldn’t fit my knee pads in. I’m 5’3 with a standard 32/32 waist pants size. So I got the small, which was perfect length wise and waist, but if I got a Medium, I think I could fit my knee pads in. They are definitely wind proof, the So-Cal Winters here are not a true winter, but it gets cold enough, that these pants kept my legs toasty. They are not heavy, they are medium weight. They also have good deep pockets that I really like. I was able to fit a lot more things than usual with my Troy Lee Bike Shorts. I used them for jogging and hiking and work really well. But for Mountain Biking it would have to be really cold for me to use these since it gets warm. So if you live in a cold city or state, these will do wonders for you. Overall the price can’t be beat, they should last for 1-2 seasons. Which seems justifiable since styles and habits change. The quality of the materials used is ok, I can tell that the threads on some parts will eventually remove itself or just start falling apart. But you would have to do some major stretching or damage to make that happen. If you take care of them, they can probably last a long time. I’m a freestyle Mountain Biker, Hiker, Runner and Active Lifestyle kind of guy so this will surely be used for more than just mountain biking! Also if you get a Bigger Brand Mtb Pants you might be limited to just Mountain Biking. You’ll also spend $100-$260 on a Big Brand MTB Pants in which they are dedicated for MTB. These pants can be used for more than MTB, so that’s my big plus and where I find the Value!

Warm Comfortable Cold Weather Cycling Pants
Warm water & wind proof bicycle pants Not padded. Comfortable and warm in colder weather that I wear all day before/during/after riding . Fit true to size even with padded shorts worn underneath.

Medium is a bit tight for 33” waist
I am typically a 32/33” waist when sizing stretchy-fabric pants. These run a bit small but I’m keeping them as the length is good and the elastic will probably stretch after the first few wears. Pros: Price is right Good stitching Warm! (fleece-lined with outside thigh vents) Generally well made including seams and stitching Cons: Medium is a bit tight for 33” waist (but length was perfect for ~32/33”L) Zippers seem just ok (at least for now)- not as smooth as some others Material is shinier than expected. Not a terrible thing depending on what you’re looking for. 100% poly vs a nicer blend- but what do you expect for $50? Ankles are not as tight as I’d like for a biking pant. Velcro helps but not ideal for my taste Mid-rise waist is higher than I’d prefer causing me to opt for either slightly higher waist, or lower crotch

Good for recreating in cold weather.
Great for cold winter bike rides. The brushed interior is very warm and comfortable. The exterior is weather resistant.

Love these pants!
The fit and warmth on these pants is amazing. They are perfect for riding, but also stylish enough to wear out-at least by PNW standards!

Great cold weather running pants
I use these as cold weather running pants and they’re excellent. Great mobility and warmth. I would say high 20’s would be the limit on temp before you need something thicker or another layer.

Athletic fit, maybe go up a size
Might need to go bigger than a medium. I am 6' 3" ,wear 30-32 waist, 34 length jeans and Medium is probably a little too small. If they shrink at all they won't fit. Other than that they seem nice, soft enough and stretch well when in motion

Wow, I’ve got to say I am impressed for $40 pants. I purchased these with the intension of using them for cold weather cycling / fat biking in the winter. The fit is great, with vents on both legs and one in the back. This should allow air to circulate when I get warm. All the logos are reflective which is great for cycling but also walking! I will certainly use these for walking and snowshoeing. For reference, I ordered a size medium. I am 5’8”, 175lbs, 30 inch waist and 31 inch inseam and they fit perfect. A little room to spare if I want to wear a base layer underneath. Although they seem pretty warm as it is. They are stretchy and comfortable. They are water resistant. Will they last? Time will tell, but for 40$ you should get them. Even at full price they are worth it IMO.

Excellent fit. I'm 5'10 with 29inch leg and slim build. Cosy warm. Use to commute to work. Very comfortable. Some reviews say there is an issue with seem in the crotch area.....I've not been aware of it. I recommended these to a friend who also bought them and is very happy. They look and feel quality.

I love my Souke pants for riding and every day use. With a pair of long johns underneath these keep me perfectly warm while riding through a Canadian winter. They block the wind and also have some venting zippers if you get too hot. The material is comfortable and water resistant and the look is fashionable enough that I can wear them out to a restaurant without feeling underdressed. They have extended my ability to ride into the cold of winter and still feel comfortable. I will always make sure that I have a pair of these on hand. They are now an essential part of my cycling wardrobe. The price is also very good. I really like the deep pockets to carry my phone, keys and whatever else I need on the go. The fit is pretty good too. I'm a medium and the medium fit me. The stitching is tight around the waste (and as others have mentioned here) they may pop the first time you put them on but the elastic waist band keeps the fit. That is the only reason I didn't give these a full 5 stars. I think they could use an elastic thread on the waist band so they have some give. Other than that I love these and wear them almost every day.

My husband bought this for hiking and skating and was very pleased with these pants. His waist is 36 and he bought an XL and the fit is perfect. The elastic waist is adjustable with a string if needed. Excellent quality, lightly fleeced, not too wide but wide enough to wear a layer underneath if needed and very comfortable. Also, they definitely block the wind. I searched high and low for a pair for me and finally tried on his and they fit well so decided to order another pair and have them shortened. Until I can get them shortened I an wear them using the velcro to tighten at the bottom of the pants. Did I mention good price.

I have had this pants now for three months. I live in Canada and was waiting for the colder weather to come to test it. Given the situation with COVID-19 I put on hold my gym membership and decided to run outside in the cold which I haven't done before. I also want to do winter mountain biking (which I only do in the spring and summer). When running I usually go indoors when temperatures go below 7C. I waited to write this review after using it a few times. I bought this jacket and the corresponding pants and now I have had a number of runs with them. I have gone twice mountain biking and it also worked very well, it doesn't get in the way or gets caught by branches or interfere with pedaling, the fit is just right for my legs not too tight. I wear it with shorts underneath but no need for underpants. I have been very impressed, I have run and done mountain biking in temperatures ranging from 4C to -9C and I have really enjoyed the warmth of the pants, I am sure that I can easily run till -18C with this jacket. Some days have been a bit windy and no problem at all. I highly recommend this pants. I am not a big guy, I am 5'7" 152 lbs and I am using the size L, so I highly recommend you go higher in your sizing, I returned the medium after being to tight for me. BTW, don't forget to wash it in cold water and not dry in your dryer. Great product, I am very happy with it.
