Bought the light mainly for daytime use plus possibility of occasional night time ride.. so it says in flash mode it should last 10-12h well mine died after just 3h and battery indicator very quickly loos it's first bar, then quickly goes to just 1 bar and stays there for a while and then dies...And the flashing light is like a strobe light so wouldn't surprise if it annoyed some drivers but must say they seem to see you from far away...Also in instructions the light output is less than stated 1000lm by the seller and is either 800 or 900 (can't now remember exactly)So now I have to look for a light that's not a strobe lije this one and that can last say 5-6h in real life...If you want it only for short rides and night riding and you're on tight budget then it's not a bad light for the price!Thanks

Could have been a great product if only the flash function actually worked.Received it today and on turning it on when I switched to the flash function it turned itself off after less than a second.Persevering I've brought it out to cycle this evening and again the flash function refuses to stay on for more than a few seconds.Cycling through the 5 programs and most of the time the final flash function doesn't even happen - it just turns off on the fourth press.Such a pity. The flash is the most important function for me as that's what gets the most notice from other road users.Will be requesting a return this evening.

Delivered sooner than expected, superb light and small compact design without being bulky, which means it don't take up too much space on my handlebar, brilliant lighting strengths, though the highest setting may irritate on coming drivers, but you would only need the higher setting in unlit area's like on countryside roads. it doesn't come with the free rear light as advertised though, for some unknown reason. I have two of these, and the second one I bought seems to have a poorer battery life than the first. They are fairly bright, and do a decent job in most circumstances, but I do not believe they are 1000 lumens as stated- certainly not over their full field.For the price, they are a decent product, and have a good robust feel. The added versatility of being able to use them as a spare battery pack to charge your phone etc is a nice emergency feature too.One thing that would really improve this product: a lower power daytime flash mode. The flash mode is currently probably too bright for its own good, and a lower power flash would make the battery last longer whilst still providing good daytime visibility.

This light was recommended by a friend of mine.1. I've used it continuously for 5 hours and just got down 1 bar out of 4 led battery level indicator.2. I've used it for 1 week, 1 hour a day until i got half of it.3. The battery is really 4000 mAh and you are visible from the lateral side also.4. It is rainproof.5. The light is very powerfull at mid level and illuminates everything in your path, from street signs to wide roads, foxes, squirrels, narrow roads, you name it, and you can orient it horizontaly as well as vertically.6. On the first program, yellow light combined with white, if you leave your bike still for couple of minutes it will turn off; just touch your bike and it will turn on automatically; i love this feature. It seems to be made in China but not even considering the price this is going to be the best bike light you will ever buy! Period. My compliments to the seller and for sure Shenkey is a brand of which we gonna hear about it in the future.

It would look as fully charged, however, it would turn itself off mid-ride, with occasionally coming on after pressing the button, sometimes for a second or two, sometimes for longer. I would have accepted a replacement but this does not appear to be an option, so I am having to return the item, getting a refund and buying a new light making this purchase a total waste of time.

Perfect for the roads I cycle on on my evening commutes... Brightest setting lights the road without blinding oncoming traffic.No daylight roundabout near misses since I have been using this too so traffic can definitely see you coming. If I had a pound for every car that has pulled out in front of me at a roundabout...

The light is well built and feels built to last. Does what it says, has auto lumination if there is ambient light to save battery power. No issues I am very happy with it working on my bike also the charge indicator is great
