After learning the tricks, we all loved the ziggy tent.
Pros: light weight, packs up small (easily can be packed or as a carry on),material is extremely elastic , protects you from the suns rays well, doesn’t trap heat like a tent, good in moderately high winds where other umbrellas and canopies brokeCons: Sand bag cords can tangle, take some time to get used to setting up, & I already noticed some rust on the poles after one useTips:-fill up the sand bags with a couple shovels of sand before streching out. Then go back and fill the bags the rest of the way once poles are in place. Put a lot of tension on the line and I suggest digging a hole for the bags on windy days- don’t place the poles to close to the corners. Move them about a foot in from front and side- when taking down roll up each sand bag in its own cord to prevent tingling when you go to use it again

Life's a Beach in the Shade!!!
This was by far the best investment I made for my recent beach trip. With three young kids 1, 3 and 5 year olds this was a savior from the pounding sun and provide tons of shade to relax and build sand castles. There are a lot of negative reviews about how these shades don't hold up to the wind and they are false. We experienced a few storms that turned cheap umbrellas inside out and folded up tents and the Ziggy shade was left standing like nothing ever happened. I was able to easily adjust the poles through out the day always tilting the shade toward the sun. I would highly recommend!!! We were able to fit two adults and 3 children under the shade throughout the day. Thanks Ziggy Shade for keeping us cool in the summer sun!

Coolest thing ever!!
Living part-time in Colorado and part time in Florida, this is one of the most versatile outdoor gear products i've ever had! I saw one on Saint Pete Beach and had to have one! I used it at a music festival in Colorado, using rocks instead of sand in the pouches. We also Took it hiking, without the halls and simply tied it to some trees off the trail for a shady picnic . On the beach its way easier and more useful than a umbrella that the wind turns inside out and you can't dig deep enough in the sand to keep from blowing away. It's lightweight and compact and a great way to create shade. Go for the family size! You'll love it!

Never buying another shade again 🙌👍
Seriously. This is the fourth product I’ve tried at the beach and I’m never going back. It takes less than 10 minutes to set up and with the right placement (this is key) it barely moves. This kept us in the shade on the Texas coast for a week, and each set-up and take-down got easier and easier. There were quite a few storms around and it wasn’t exactly calm winds. Also, it barely weighs as much as a beach chair.I must say that it makes a difference having a small shovel to fill up the sand pouches, but it isn’t necessary.Be careful putting the poles back in the bag as they can tear the fabric.Wrapping the cords around the top of the poles with the shade makes a huge difference in integrity. As with any product like this, don’t forget to apply your sunblock.I was nervous with this purchase but I read/watched several reviews and I can now 100% say I would buy again and recommend to anyone.

The best sunshade I've ever owned
Finally! A sun shade that is easy to carry, and that stands up to NC coastal winds (10-15mph gusts)! I bought the large size, as well as the two extra poles, and there was plenty of shade for two adults in camping chairs, plus a dog. It was little flappy when I set it up with 4 poles (instead of just the 2 included) but the sandbags gave it so much stability it never fell down.I sunburn easily, but was able to spend a week at the beach without turning into a lobster for once. Huzzah!I was able to set it up and take it down by myself in the wind, although a second person does make it much easier. The video helped A LOT, and it got easier as I practiced setting it up every day at the beach. Using the two extra poles, it seemed to be most stable with the shorter poles on the side facing into the wind. A better setup may exist, but this worked great for us!This is great design and I have a feeling it will last for years.

Easy Set Up! Perfect for the Beach!
After shopping around, we decided to invest in a Ziggy Shade for our spring break trip to the beach. Money well spent! The family size shade easily fit in our luggage for flying. The lightweight compact design did not compromise precious weight or space in our luggage. The shade was super easy to set up and the well weighted sand anchors provided us with plenty of security, even on windy days. The shade provided ample refuge from the sun and stood up to windy days. When the wind picked up, umbrellas were flying down the beach and people had to lower their umbrellas so they wouldn't catch the wind. We never had a wind issue with our shade and never had to take it down.We easily fit our family of 4 under the shade with 4 beach chairs and coolers. We used the 2 poles that come with the shade. We are going to buy 2 extra poles to give us options in the future. The shade works great when the wind is blowing at you and fills the shade. However, we really could have used the 2 extra poles when the wind was blowing at out back and pushed the low side of the shade down.Overall, we are super happy with this purchase and commented daily how awesome it was that we had it on the beach.
