Rustic Log Bed Twin, Full, Queen, King (Full)

My last review mysteriously disappeared. The bed shown in the stock photo, and the bed you see in other reviews, are not what they sell anymore. They use regular 2x4s whittled down at the ends for the siderails. The mattress/boxspring simply sits on top of the siderails with nothing to anchor the bed down. Further more, the siderails are 3 inches too long, which leave a large gap at either the headboard or the footboard. The set only came with half of the needed hardware to assemble, and didn't have instructions, though it's easy enough to figure out. I ordered mine lacquered and 3 pieces came unfinished.

The seller does not care to own up to the junk they send. ALL measurements are wrong. The huge gap in the headboard does not line up so badly we needed to put the logs in traction to get it to glue together. The holes were at least 3 inches higher than the holes on the other post for the headboard. The bed is so flimsy and unstable that a simple motion during the night will send it into a shaky mess slamming against the wall. It is not even close to king size. It’s much wider in much longer so the boxspring moves all around and cannot fit into such a large space snuggly enough to be stable. Adding to the beds already terrible stability. Contacted seller. They said its not their problem once already assembled and thats the last i hear from these people. Like dealing with some fly by night chinese company.UPDATE. A few months down the road. And the bed broke while rolling over in my sleep. Fell apart leaving two sleeping people to crash to the floor. I added more pics and im looking into suing this manufacturer for the sheer negligence of making something this unsafe. We are of average weight and do nothing you dont ordinarily do in a bed. First the cheaply poor made cheese boards fell apart and loat support. Next it all came crashing down. This product is hazardous and needs to be taken off amazon for sale. If you spend money on this. You are nuts. Please look at my pics and be warned.

I ordered this thinking it was an actual log bed, it turns out I was wrong. It is a log headboard and footboard with a two-by-four for side rails. To say I'm not happy would be an understatement. I bought this particular bed because it came from the same company the rest of my furniture did, not sure what the issue is but something is amiss. Also it comes with no instructionsand not enough screws. As you are putting it together the headboard and footboard fall apart because there is no way to secure the head and footboard cross rails. In other words-they don't include enough screws. I have done construction for part of my life so I know what to do, those who haven't would have issues.

Very cheaply made, but then again it is inexpensive. The supports under the bed are coming apart. The head and foot boards were only attached by a screw. We added an extra bracket and a 2x4 on each side for support. Also, the holes also weren't lined up properly so we had to really work them to get them to work.Also, customer support was very rude.I do not recommend buying this bed frame (unless you want to do a lot of extra work).Update: the middle support broke off. The side supports broke off. We had to add l-brackets to all to make them not break. So incredibly, poorly made.

One of the logs came broken in half. I was stuck in at my cabin without a bed frame so i had to glue it and then fasten it back together or i would have returned it.

I was excited to buy this bed since I would be helping a Michigan company. I am sorry to report that I would not buy this bed again. I am actually afraid to lay in the bed. There is nothing sturdy about it. I will have to purchase additional parts from a local hardware store to secure it. I went through a big tube of Gorilla Glue and the parts did not adhere. The spindles were sized different and when I went to put them in the posts I had to take them apart and put them back. They just spin now and are not providing support. The bed is very easy to assemble which is why I gave it the rating. I went and purchase angle brackets and threaded rod to provide the necessary support that will be required. I was also not sold on the (3) 1x4’s to support a king size bed. I went to the lumberyard and bought sturdy material for support and added a sheet of 3/4 plywood. The bed looks sweet, but without doing additional work I would be concerned about it not collapsing.

I love how they turned out. After assembly of the first bed my husband was able to put these together in less than 20 minutes. Down side the twin beds weren’t lacquered. This would have been too much for our budget however the full was less expensive than the twin and it came lacquered. Bed literally comes piece by piece just an fyi. We will see how they hold up over time. These will be used as full time sleepers for my kiddos.

This by far is the most flimsy frame you can buy. Nothing buy wood glue holds this together. The quality control is horrible and the shipping box was destroyed causing slight damage to the wood because UPS decided they couldn’t lift it so they most likely threw it off the truck
