BioLogic's Scanmask Beneficial Nematodes, Steinernema feltiae Sf Nematodes for Natural Insect Pest Control (50 Million with Applicator)

Knocked out my yard fleas within 45 days - works GREAT!

I used nematodes to get rid of moles in my yard, and within a week, I saw a significant reduction in mole activity. The applicator is easy to use. I followed the steps in the instructions and applied 50 million to my backyard. The result was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with mole problems.

We're organic gardeners with a huge problem this year--lots of ants, grubs, and more insects than the birds and frogs can eat. This type of nematode was recommended by Gardener's World magazine so giving it a try to discourage ants. The 50 came with a hose sprayer and this worked very well. Easy to understand instructions and easy to use, and yes the control knob is a little stiff to work so have patience. I like the spray pattern and coverage with each cup of nematode powder. Suggestions: read the company website before buying since there are times when NOT to spray the solution. #2, set up a visual grid pattern to make sure you get the correct coverage. Sprayed this during on lawn and veg bed during overcast day with expected rain for two days, but also followed the instructions for wetting the ground first with plain water then the solution. Counting on the rain to help the critters reach the soil. Didn't give 5 points because it will take a few months to see results!

The nematodes appear to have worked excellently, however, the sprayer that came with the product did not work, luckily I was able to use a generic hose end sprayer.

Nematodes arrived in ice packs that still had frost on them, in a very small sturdy foil-lined envelope. The sprayer came in a separate box. The shipping materials were high quality and the packing was done very well. The nematodes were like corn-starch powder and easy to measure into the sprayer, and the powder dispersed well into the water. This was so much better than some I bought last year from another supplier, that were mixed in sawdust and had to be mixed into a large quantity of water and then you had to strain out the sawdust so the solution wouldn't clog your sprayer. The sprayer was also very good quality and worked very well although I still haven't mastered the skill of controlling how much water pressure it takes to not use the mix too fast. Now, I just hope the little critters have a good appetite and I can keep them moist long enough to eat all the grubs in my lawn so I don't have a thousand june bugs at my door every night.

We had a really bad flea infestation and at one point the fleas started to get into the house. Our dog was miserable and so were we. About six months ago when it was springtime, we ordered these nematodes and followed the directions that the seller provided. With each month that went by, we saw a gradual improvement. Fast forward six months later, our lawn looks beautiful and healthy and we have no more fleas. While we were waiting for the nematodes to take effect, we also gave our dog some prescription flea medicine and that helped with the transition. This is a fantastic product and we highly recommend -- but we can't emphasize enough, you have to follow the directions to the letter! Thank you!

I mixed the nematodes according to the package directions making sure they were dissolved and no clumps remained. I hooked the applicator up to my hose according to the directions and it clogged in less than a minute of use. I unclogged the reservoir tube according to the directions on the bottle. In less than a minute it clogged again. I once again unclogged. A third time it stopped working and the reservoir tube did not seem to be blocked this time, I tried to flush out the actual head attachment. Tried using again. Still not working. I spent an hour trying everything I could think of to get the applicator to start working again and it never did. I was left with no way to apply the nematodes to my garden and they went to waste. $67 and an hour of my valuable time gone for nothing. I'm furious. This is a cheap crappy product. Do not purchase.

This product is so easy to apply. Recommended to apply to a damp surface before the summer heat. If it hasn’t rained, no problem, you can turn the dial, wet the area, turn the dial and apply/spread the nematodes. So much easier than a dry or granular product.
