Unsure what to make out of this
The promotional video shows both dogs and cats, so I bought this Wicked Ball for my cat. Little did I know that there are separate versions for dogs and for cats, and I bought the dog version. Somehow this toy has kept my cat’s attention like no other toy before. It has also lasted way longer than the cat version I did end up buying too.I give this toy five stars. You just have to judge whether this ball will be a good fit for your particular dog… or cat.

Way over-hyped. Waste of money.
Absolute waste of money. Incredibly difficult to open again once you close it (which is problematic, as you need to open it to charge it and to change the energy level setting). With a medium sized cattle dog who is not rough on toys and primarily wanted to hold the ball while it shook, the outside was punctured within the first 10 min of supervised play. It's cool that it rolls itself, but it certainly does not bounce itself, and the "high" setting is nowhere near the energy level I expected based on the description. Bummed I spent so much on what is essentially a non-durable ball that can vibrate and occasionally roll.

Randomly turns on
This toy helps to keep our new puppy occupied and offers fun engagement with her.My biggest problem with it is once you leave it alone and it turns off, it randomly turns back on for no reason. Multiple times it's woken the puppy up from a nap when we did not want that to happen.Once it's off, it should stay off until interacted with

Interesting toy!
My dog will play with it sometimes and sometimes he just ignores it. No fault on the toy, I think it’s more my dog. I feel like the charge runs out fairly quickly. Other than that it’s a great product it’s fun to watch.

It’s her obsession
My dog is now obsessed with this ball. As soon as she wakes in the morning, and before she goes to bed at night, she is carrying it around. When it is charging, she stands near it and whines until I give in and hand it to her. We use medium speed and she seems to like it the best. It is almost completely torn up so I had to order a new shell for it. Even though she is a strong chewer and she acts like it is her sole purpose in life to destroy this ball and get the innards out, I would recommend this. It is fun to watch her play and chase the ball around.

Initially, could not open it
Unbelievable! I gave it as a gift to my wife for her puppy for Christmas. The instruction manual showed how to open it in order to charge it. You are supposed to unscrew it by twisting the halves. It would not open! I tried it both ways. I googled 'can't open wicked ball'. The manufacturer did not offer any suggestions or instructions if there was difficulty opening it. Only 'advertisements' as to how it worked. Do they not have any kind of quality control or testing to assure that the product will open? It was clearly screwed together so tightly that I could not open it.So here is my solution, maybe the manufacturer can put it in their information somewhere. I put it under hot tap water for about 30 seconds. I was able to open it after that but it was still difficult. The fact that the manufacturer obviously does not have any quality control to test opening it, has some manufacturing process that screws it together too tightly, and provides no suggestions or solutions if that is the case, I will not buy from them again.

keeps my one year old busy
I thought the ball was going to be a small trinket for my mini poodle to play with however, it was much more than I expected. I have thrown this ball from high heights and made cringworthy faces when it fell but somehow the thing is still working. The battery needs to be charged pretty often as I use it almost every three days for 2 hours consistently but it only takes a few hours charging then its good for about 4 hours of playtime. Totally worth your money if you can afford it and find yourself either too busy to play or just dont want to. I will say that some dogs totally dont like it so chose wisely.
