CMS 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 8500 1066MHZ Non ECC SODIMM Memory Ram Upgrade Compatible with Dell® Latitude E6410, E6410 Atg Notebook - A35

This is a review of the vendor. I worked for Dell for 15 years and AT&T for 7 more. You want to make bad parts fail as you test them IN THE FACTORY. However, this doesn't always happen. When you ship an electronic product and it dies in the first 90 days, they are classified as "early life failures". Crucial is a good line and I have used them for years. This Vendor did not reply to my attempts to say what I am saying here.Memory was installed in a older Latitude E6410. There are only two memory sockets. I removed two 2gb SODIMM units and installed the two 4gb SODIMMS I had purchased. They worked fine for just over one month. After that, 100% processor saturation. I swapped parts between sockets, no better, tested one SODIMM at a time and you see the charts above. Installed two old memory units and had perfect function. Early life failures are a fact of life and the vendor needs to take note of it. Buy from someone who will support you.

These memory cards were the perfect solution for speeding up my Dell Laptop which originally had 4 GB, not enough for the apps and programs that I run. The 8 GB kit was competitively priced and very easy to install. In retrospect, I should have obtained this upgrade much earlier. After installing the new memory cards, I ran the Windows Memory app (MEM) and they passed all checks. Thanks, Amazon.
