The best popcorn on the market!!!!!
This is the absolute best popcorn on the market. Each of the different kernels have a distinctive taste and texture, but never stale. We prefer the purple, but it was fun to try them all. This is worth it.

Almost all kernels popped
I bought the 3 kinds of popcorn and have only tried the purple. It popped almost all kernels in 2 minutes and none burned. I stay by the microwave and listen carefully for popping to stop. Popcorn was good, I used a small amount of olive oil that I mixed with the kernels before popping.

Takes a bit longer to pop than yellow, but tasty, soft, and definitely less hulls
First of all, I thought this was great popcorn. The bags arrived just fine, and the colors of the corn are really pretty. I got red, blue and purple popcorns, exactly as shown.I bought a new silicone microwave popcorn bowl to test with this. I first popped some yellow grocery store popcorn in it so I'd know how it worked and how long to pop for. The bagged popcorns I popped before generally were for 2 1/2 minutes. I found that regular yellow corn took roughly 2:45 minutes. These popcorns took 3 to 3:15 minutes. Before this review, I popped (and ate!) roughly 1/2 of all 3 bags. I wanted to see the difference in taste between them, how long they took to pop, and how different they were from 'regular' store popcorn. Since I'm dieting, I am eating TONS of popcorn as snacks, so was happy to do lots of experimenting. Here are my observations:1. This popcorn IS delicious. There ARE fewer hulls, and the taste is lighter and sweeter and easier to eat.2. It takes LONGER to pop by a few seconds than the regular store yellow popcorn, using the same container, and the same amount.3. It burns FAST when you overpop by even a few seconds.4. You have to listen for the pops to stop, and stop it quick. In my microwave, I'm finding that it's roughly at the 3 minute to 3:10 mark.5. There are always roughly 10% of unpopped kernels per batch, regardless of color type.6. The time gap between the first pop to the last pop is really long compared to bag popcorn.7. The first to pop start turning yellowish by the time the last pop, so your batch isn't evenly whiteThat said, when it's done, it's fluffy, light, the hulls aren't as bad as yellow popcorn as advertised. Also, the kernels are softer and less chewy, as well as smaller than yellow store popcorn. After some experimentation, I discovered the best popping method for me, so here's how I do it in a silicone microwave popcorn maker.1. I fill the popcorn to the line in the silicone for popcorn (I think it's 2 Tablespoons, but haven't measured exactly)2. I add 1/2 a teaspoon of virgin coconut oil that's been sitting on the counter so is very soft.3. I stir the coconut oil in with a fork, so it coats every kernel, then sprinkle top with some salt.4. Set the microwave for 3:15 (3 minutes, 15 seconds)5. Start listening for the popping sound to slow down to 1 pop, then open the microwave and shake the container (roughly 3:10 for all 3 types-remember, your microwave may not have the same power as mine)6. I pour into another bowl to eat. Sometimes I add a dab of melted butter to the top (and this is omg delicious, but butter wrecks my diet)One more point. I read that moisture in the microwave makes popcorn pop more completely. So I tried rinsing out the silicone first and dumping it out, so it was damp before popping. This makes the more crunchy popcorn more 'chewy' and closer to the texture of yellow popcorn. Can't say I like it better, so I don't rinse it first. Just letting you know the results of a more humid popping environment. That said, I'm not sure if I would buy this particular set again, because I'm not seeing a huge difference between the 3 types other than having nifty color kernels. It was well worth trying, I've always been curious how different colored popcorns were different. I may try the larger size of this brand tho. It was indeed good popcorn, and I go through tons of popcorn anyway. The star off was because I didn't want to say the popcorn was PERFECT, because while it was excellent, it wasn't the best popcorn possible.Pix captions: the kernels just coated with coconut oil, and the finished popcorn from those kernels.Hope this helps:)!

Jammin' Popcorn!
When I bought this, I really wasn't expecting much. I mean, I've always preferred starting out with corn kernels and popping my own, rather than settling for anything more or less 'instant,' but this stuff produces absolutely incredible popcorn! Seriously, I thought popcorn was popcorn, but this really is head and shoulders above any other brand I've bought before. Granted, not knowing there really could be a significant difference between this bag and that bag at my local grocer or supermarket, I never had particularly high expectations. Well, that's all changed. Now I do, and I will from now on.My wife and I purchased the three bag sampler of Amish Country Popping Corn, which netted us 1 pound each of their Baby White, Ladyfinger and a colorful bluish/purple variety called Purple Popcorn. Wow. This stuff is incredible! Every one of the varieties is awesome, although I might just be persuaded to give the Baby White a tiny nod as the best of the best, if I really had to make a choice. That's actually not too easy, because every variety has been fantastic, and 3 pounds should provide the two of us with an awful lot of relatively low-calorie snacking in our immediate future (not to mention any friends and family with whom we might share it eventually, if this cursed pandemic ever eases up).It will take awhile, but when we need to resupply eventually, now we can't wait to try all of the different varieties of Amish Country popcorn. There are many from which to choose, all of which come with a number of recipes for some of the fancy-to-fancier popcorns, but our own favorite batch is fairly basic. We pop it pretty much as recommended, maybe using a smidgen less oil, so the only real difference is our use of a seasoned salt instead of the recommended sea salt (or regular table salt) for seasoning. For our perfect bowlful, we prefer using Morton Season-All and/or the spicy Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning when we want something with a little zing. Don't worry though; fancy salt isn't at all a necessity; it's just the way we happen to like it. But wait, there's more! :-)My wife and I have been on something of a genuine Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese kick lately, so this seasoned popcorn, liberally laced with some of that freshly-grated white gold from Italy? Ew-wee baby, our taste buds have died and gone to popcorn paradise! Yum! Further, in a particularly bold move, we also tried it with freshly grated Spanish Manchego cheese instead, and the results were equally impressive, although as different as the one cheese from the other. While our normal batch is usually just specially seasoned, when we want something more, adding one of these excellent cheeses to our popcorn really takes it over the top. While three pounds of these totally bumpin' popcorn kernels from Amish Country Popping Corn weren't exactly cheap, there are sort'a two different ways to look at this thing. One, that's an AWFUL lot of popcorn about which we're talkin,' which should last us a long long time. On the other hand, since it is such a huge amount of the raw material necessary for creating these special popcorns, it actually should work out to be quite reasonable on a per-batch basis. However, no matter what it works out to per serving, it's more than worth it to us, so if you like popcorn, even just a little, you really should try it. "Best popcorn ever," according to my wife. :-) HIGHLY recommended by us both!

Great taste
Had a very hard time popping in microwave. Tasted great once popped. Second batch of 1/3 cup only 2 kernels popped the rest were unpopped. Tried twice. I will stick to store bought popcorn.
