For the price, pretty fabulous.
For the money, this is pretty great. It's attractive and a great option for me to keep my giant rabbits separated. Some things worth knowing:Like most hutches it comes shipped in flat pieces and needs to be assembled. Assembly wasn't too bad, maybe an hour and a half. The instructions are pretty clear and straightforward the only things that might trip you up are:There are two types of casters (wheels). Half of them have locks and the other half don't. The locking ones should be on the front. There's an instruction to install the hay feeder... I'm surprised there's only one hay feeder, but the instruction doesn't really tell you where to install it *back wall in pictures. The box was packed pretty well, no damage from shipping, but the dead space was filled with Styrofoam. Ultimately I had a kitchen garbage bag worth of plastic / Styrofoam waste, which is a disappointment. When assembling this sort of structure be extremely careful. Screws strip out easily and the light wood can splinter. I had better than average results on this than I have on others in the past.I love the design. Everything is accessible, more than I thought it'd be in the pictures. Even the rigid floor section is easily dumped into the tray below for cleaning.Money well spent I think.

Okay
*almost 1 year update* when kept put of the elements indoors this has lasted quite well, certainly better than I thought. The only pieces that are almost shot are the roof hinges, due to the incredibly short screws and soft wood holding them on. Cleaning every week has been easy. I would recommend for indoor use.Original:I bought the 2 sided hutch for 6 quail.Firstly it stinks. Not gross, but a mix of what I can guess is the wood and some sort of odo-ban type cleaner. I let it air out before introducing animals.Putting it together was simple just tedious. Some of the pieces don't line up exactly which is more annoying to me aesthetically than it effects functionality. The droppings tray doesn't seem like it will last long, and often gets caught when I'm trying to pull it out.The wire bottom doesn't attach to the cage itself, which makes for easy cleaning but also means it is a bit unsteady under my birds feet, and noisy, I Can't imagine what it would be like for a rabbit. The door locks on the wire and the 'ramp doors' are weak. This is not predator proof by any means, and the wood is so soft i personally would not recommend for outdoor use anyway. This will most likely be a temporary cage while I find something better, which being that it was $200 with shipping costs- is pretty disappointing.

Nice cage
Nice cage! Was easy to put together. Some holes weren’t perfect but that’s really any prefab furniture. Great price for what you get. Nice size. My only complaint is I wish the roof wasn’t shingle bc it makes a mess and I can’t imagine putting this cage outside.

Cannot use immediately, air it out.
The company is really responsive to questions which is great. The build quality is sturdy if you put it together using the largest screws they give you. There are no gaps and the tray is sturdy for bedding.I recommend using your own medium length screws. The shortest screws are for the lid and the cage connector.Use a handheld screwdriver to avoid stripping the wood with the electric screwdriver. The wood is soft but the screw will get a firm bite if you screw it in manually.Something that irritates me is that when you split it into two pieces the second piece doesn’t roll on it’s own. it’s sort of like a wheelbarrow with two wheels where you have to carry the side without wheels.Another issue is that it is obviously treated with something. My roomates said it smelled like tea tree oil. It’s too strong to be used right when you build it, you have to put it in the garage or on the porch for a few days to let it off gas the paint.

Eh.. It'll work... I guess
So I had some trepidation ordering this product after reading the reviews, but I really liked the way the hutch looks and couldn't really find one similar. The good news is the hutch fits perfectly in the space I have. Bad news is that the material is of a lower quality than I expected. The wood split when my husband and I were trying to attach the roof to the house portion and the pieces don't line up. In order to attach the roof you have to have the pieces partially closed for the hinges to even line up to the frame and that makes them nearly impossible to screw in. I ended up having to use wood glue to put the piece that split back together and drill a new hole into the hinge so that I could attach the roof. In addition I am concerned about the flooring in the house portion. I'm afraid if my bunny has any accidents this piece will deteriorate and will at some point have to be replaced. Lastly, we follow the instructions to a T, and the instructions had us put on one piece backwards, we didn't realize it until the floor in the house wouldn't go in level and we had to take the hutch apart and put it back together. I am disappointed in this product for what I paid, I expected better quality.
