EBXYA XLR Cable 50 Feet - DMX Cable with 3 Pins Balanced Shielded XLR Male to Female Mic Cable Cords (4 Colors)

I got this cable for a DMX controller for lighting. It showed up in the search on Amazon when I entered "DMX cable". I was surprised to see it was a microphone cable (which I can use BUT doesn't meet my needs for DMX).There is a difference between DMX cables and microphone cables (though they look the same). The shielding on a DMX cable is generally better because it's transporting data, as opposed to microphone cables, which are transporting audio signals. Using a microphone cable in a DMX function can cause problems such as strobing, flickering or loss of signal.

I've tried several of the cheap XLR cables available on Amazon. I'm beginning to realize this one might not be one of the best. The sound quality is fine, but build quality is questionable. While it doesn't affect the use of the cable, one of the identifier rings on the connectors had broken off before I ever removed the cable from the bag. This cable also seems much thinner and stiffer than many of the other cheaper cables I've used, so it's been difficult to get the kinks out of the cable.It might be a good idea to go with Lyx Pro or MCS cables if you're in a pinch for a cheap cable. I like the connectors used on this cable, but I don't care for the cable itself.

Love the colors of the cable - makes it easy to plug and play cables for specific functions during setup. Challenge is the XLR connectors are not the highest of quality. Unlike their more expensive options from LiveWire etc the connectors are hard to click into the XLR port. They’re sometimes hard to get out of the port, etc. if they could upgrade their connectors - five stars on this and I’d pay the extra couple of bucks to ensure that things could get plugged/unplugged easily and didn’t damage the ports they went into.

I'll start by saying I purchased this cable for use with a Heil mic and a GoXLR on a streaming setup. This is a great cable, the sound quality is amazing and I have zero outside interference which is something I've had issues with other cables being that my setup is very electronic heavy. The cable is the exact color as what's in the picture. The ends are secure and the connectors are tough yet operate smoothly. easily a 5 star cable. Also came with some velcro cable management that was very helpful.

A lot of cable for a low price. No noise so the shield must be good.

I needed a backup xlr cable for when my band has to provide the PA. And I needed it to be long enough to go from our rack to my DI. This thing checks all the boxes. Built to last and comes in cool colors so our guitarist can’t say that it’s his. I would not hesitate to buy again.

These are solid cables. They do what they are designed to. Great price for the length and bright color. Looks great. And the cable sleeve is soft and easy to coal when packing up. Great for Mobile sound, or distinguishing Right from Left cable in a stereo sound output.

Pretty sturdy cables. Good purchase for the price. Time and use will tell in the long run. Color definitely helps differentiate the longer cables from the black shorter cables.
