This is a new recording of selections from the Broadway musical Chicago, by John Kander and Fred Ebb. The show was nominated for 11 Tony Awards in 1976, including Best Musical and Best Score. This album includes two versions of every song, one with guide vocals and one with instrumental accompaniment only - totalling 28 tracks. Tracks 1-14 contain guide vocals; tracks 15-28 contain accompaniment only. This allows the performer to learn a song by singing along with the vocals and music, then to practice their technique accompanied only by the background tracks. All Stage Stars albums are re-recorded by actors and actresses and are in the original show keys and tempos. This album does not include on-screen graphics nor does it include a lyric booklet.
