Maurer & WirtzTabac Original After Shave Lotion for Men, 5.1 Ounce

After reading many reviews of Tabac aftershave, I took a chance and purchased it. I was not disappointed! I found it to be a very fresh and soapy clean barbershop scent that is not overpowering but it does last most of the day for me. It also feels great on my skin after a close shave.I'm not sure why some people find it to be polarizing. It has a masculine aroma; definitely not feminine (the floral notes are mild). I like this aftershave so much I eventually intend to purchase the EDC and EDT. Take a chance on it if you're on the fence. It's been around since 1959 for good reason!

A standard throughout the years. Masculine scent, a bit intense but as soon as it evaporates leaves a subtle pleasant scent.

Great scent, great soothing and revitalizing after-shave effect. Strength wanes substantially, so this is not inappropriate for daily use in business settings.

3 stars for the actual performance. It does what aftershave is supposed to do and does it well for this price range. IF you like the scent, it lasts quite a long time. Honestly it’s strong enough that I wouldn’t put on a cologne to fight with it. That being said, the scent is not that great. I blind bought it because of the reviews. It smells like something they might put on a hospital patient after shaving him. To each their own, but you could do better with old spice or clubman for the price.
