Very beginner-friendly!
The SHENGTIAN Silk Rainbow PLA Filament is a brilliant choice for 3D printing enthusiasts who want vibrant, eye-catching, and high-quality prints. The metallic gradient effect takes your models to the next level, making them stand out in a way that standard PLA can’t. While it's more suited for decorative pieces, its ease of use, smooth print quality, and aesthetic appeal make it a fantastic filament to work with.If you want to add some pop to your 3D creations without the hassle of more advanced filaments, SHENGTIAN Silk Rainbow PLA should be high on your list.

Very easy to print with, forgiving, high quality prints.
I'm new to 3D printing, having just bought the Ender 3 Pro for Christmas. My first few prints left something to be desired, lots of failed prints, webs of loose threads etc. Switched filament to a different brand and got the settings tuned and the results were vastly improved. Then the wife asked for something in her favorite color, purple, and I found this filament. Gave it a try and was thrilled. So far I've printed a few test pieces and a small box. The results have been excellent. It makes for a very good looking print with the slight mettalic/glimmery look of this filament and it prints easily with minimal tweaks to the default Ender print settings. I've found a bed temp of 62 and a nozzle temp of 210 is pretty ideal but I've tried as low as 50/199 and as high as 70/220 and really couldn't tell much difference which gives you an idea of how forgiving this filament is. By contrast another fairly well regarded brand on here took very precise settings, 2 degrees too hot or too cold and the prints were ruined. Very happy and will be buying again and in several colors.

Product Broken Upon Arrival
UPDATE: I was able to get it on the external feeder to print. The color did come out beautiful with no issues. I will continue to use it and see if there’s any issues but the color and quality deserved an updated review. I’ve attached a picture of the final result.Disappointed in the product arriving damaged. I understand accidents happen but I had done extensive research on filaments to find one I could use. There were many options I had in my cart for purple pla filament, as I plan to print a Mother’s Day gift with it, and I ended up deciding on this company as one of them. Of the 16 filaments I had ordered from multiple different companies, this was the only one that came broken. I was skeptical of the reviews but decided to give it a try. Unfortunately I will not be able to use it until I’m able to find and figure out how to put it on a different spool. The color appears to be what I’d expect, however, it’s of no use to me and I now have to find an alternative.

Easy to print and great color, just not very durable
Easy to use, very nice color and no issues with adhesion on my ender 3 v2 tempered glass build plate. I used this filament primarily to print the prusament lack v2 enclosure for my ender 3 v2 and while it printed fine, the parts were very easy to break. I've since found out that silk PLA is one of the weaker PLA so that falls on me.I'm sure this filament is fine for display or "light duty use" but not so good for any parts that will be subjected to any kind of stress.I'm giving it 5 stars because there's nothing wrong with the filament itself, it was just not the right type for my project.

Color was inacurrate. It magically looks as its supposed too
It is not like whats pictured. The purple is pale and almost lilac instead of saturated purple like it shows. Im kinda dissappointed and will not be buying this again unless i need that exact shade of purple.Edit: i think it was just the file i was printing somehow made it lighter. Because every other print ive done since has been the same purple that was in the pictures
