I love this bag. Hands down it was a great purchase and even beats the quality of the bag that was included with my carbon fiber paddle. The zipper is large and easy to open, the padding is thick and provides great protection for the paddle. The exterior material is very durable and looks great. I bought these for my kayak paddles and they work good. It was a bit of a tight fit but they protect my paddles.

PROS:* 3 separated slots so poles won't scratch each other or make noises* big zipper - easy to open/close* useful strap and handle options* materials appear to be durablePRO WITH A CON:* The bag has a waterproof liner inside - makes sense for a water paddle bag right? The problem I have found is if the inside of the bag gets wet it is near impossible to dry out completely, especially because the zipper only opens at the very top to allow the parts to enter. Now in a typical paddling outing I'm coming out with lake/river/ocean water on my paddles and no way to wash with clean water onsite. Putting dirty paddles into the bag means I need to rinse the bag off later as well, but it's difficult to dry out. The other option of not loading the bag with "dirty" paddles sort of defeats the purpose of having the bag. It would be nice if the zipper opened more fully to allow the bag to air out better - but I suppose that might compromise the waterproof aspect of it.I have left the empty bag out in the hot sun (80-90 degrees) for 4-5 hours; also hung it upside down so gravity would help the water exit - but it still has notable moisture inside.

This seems to be a very sturdy well-made bag. The big zipper is easy to use. I ended up returning it because the new paddle I bought came with its own bag, though that bag seems slightly thinner than this one.
