I had a 4 quart version of this that I loved, but I was ready to upgrade to a larger size. I love this one! It’s still compact enough for my apartment countertop, has a ton of settings, works great, and the warning beeps are even less annoying than my old one. It seems to be of good quality and the controls are pretty easy to use. My food comes out nice and crisp every time and is comparable to the cook time of my smaller version. The light feature is nice as well. Easy to clean.

This fryer is totally awesome. With the recent loss of my husband, I'm now cooking for one. It's so much easier than the top of the stove, faster and cleaner. Now I'm not too worn out to eat what I fix; my chicken is crispier and takes so much less time. Wish it would have had a little cookbook with it but hey, with Internet, I can figure it out. It would have made it easier though. Also, wish I'd have gotten the 6 QT because the 4 is a tiny bit small, even for 1 person. Seems like a good quality product to me. I love it.

Great product! Very fast cooking but it doesn't over cook the food. Great for French fried foods, fish, potatoes, etc. Burgers, hot dogs, fried or bake fish. Average cook time is 10-12 minutes. Easy clean up. Very reasonable priced at $150! Well made. Easy countertop storage.

For someone who doesn't like to cook or can't cook, this is great. Easy to use, it's pretty much plug and play. Size is as described and fits well on my small countertop in a small apartment. Haven't had smoke so far. Cooking time has a learning curve as certain things take longer or shorter depending on how you like them cooked, but you should get a meat thermometer for most things. Quality of my food has been great. Re: smell of plastic -- For the first few times you fire this up, it will have a burning rubber/plastic smell. There are articles about this online for many cooking devices. BUT I DO SUGGEST doing test cookings (maybe 3 times) OUTSIDE or with the WINDOWS OPEN. I have a small apartment with only a balcony and vents, so that burning plastic smell lingered in my room for a day or so which admittedly was kinda scary at first especially since I have pets. BUT IT DOES GO AWAY after a few uses. I suggest firing it up at 290 degrees for 20 minutes then let it rest, and do it again 2 more times. I think companies should figure out a way to do this before packing it up and sending to customers but it is what it is. With that said, one of the best things I've bought as an adult who doesn't like to cook lol. I've had it for a few months now and enjoying all the food. And money I'm saving from not going out because cities are expensive. Plus you can make your own healthy foods. Highly recommend. If this breaks you bet I'll buy another from this brand. I just hope they figure out the burning rubber smell before shipping - almost perfect.

So, I got my airfryer 2 days ago.... everyone was absoutely correct when they saind this airfryer REALLY stinks when ya first run it....I mean....REALLY reaks of plastic!! Having said that... I first ran it at 400 degrees for 45 mimute intervals approx 5 times.....didnt do much to help it. My house filled up with a very unpleasant plastic smell.. So, I then got a small pyrex bowl and filled it way up with vinegar and several big healthy squeezes of lemon juice concentrate......twice......I gotta tell ya.....that did the trick 100%. Tonite I made a baked potatoe and bbq chicken fingers in it. It is an amazing little machine....it really cooks easy....and well. There isnt one single little bit of smell or bad taste of any kind...one of the best purchases I have made in a long time!!! Sure hope this little machine holds up....its a great addition to my kitchen!!!

My wife is in love with this. It does everything she wants and more, and she now seeks out products with which to use this thing. I got silocone liners and they're priceless. Cleaning up is almost nothing, the healthier results of her use are very tasty and well produced. Thanks, Instant Pot!

My first dive into air fryers! I chose those because it was a good price, was compact and had many functions including dehydrate! I don’t like things on the counter so my intent was to put it in the pantry but it’s been out because it looks nice. Heats up and cooks so quickly! Cook time is really fast and it will chime when it’s ready for food and chimes again to remind you to flip or shake the basket. Great quality so far! Now that I got my toes wet i do wish I bought something a bit bigger . It’s ok for one person but if I wanted to cook more I’d have to do separate batches. But I wanted compact so I have no complaints !

I bought this because I like my Insta pot so much but when I received it and saw that it was an oven and not a traditional air fryer. I decided I didn’t want it, but failed to return it on time six months later I finally opened it. I have had rotisserie countertops before, and never use them too hard to clean too hard to balance, the food that it actually worked. This one is so simple and works so well. I do whole chickens and small roasts regularly. The roasts are so amazing. I actually had to buy myself a food slicer because I couldn’t bring myself to buying sliced roast when I could prepare them so beautifully. The rotisserie basket is also amazing. I don’t generally eat potatoes, but I had to do some chips just to try it and they were so simple and such a hit. I do wings in it both marinated and dry. Once you do your roasted cauliflower in it, you’ll never do it other way. It’s also fantastic for reheating. The best I have been able to do with pizza is actually cooking the crust bottom first and then cooking the pizza. Any tips for how to get a great crispy pizza would be appreciated. The biggest reason I did not want a traditional oven air fryer was cleaning, but I am surprised at how amazingly easy it is to keep clean the door coming off is a great idea. Also, I’m not sure what they made the basket up but it also cleans extremely well. The tray on the bottom is a perfect place for some beer or wine while using the rotisserie

Excellent Air Fryer – Worth Every Penny! I did a lot of research before buying this air fryer, and I’m very happy with my decision. It has been more than seven months now, and I use it almost every day. The performance is still excellent. It cooks food evenly and quickly. I even make eggs in it, and they turn out better than boiled eggs — perfectly cooked and very tasty. From snacks to simple meals, everything comes out great. The build quality is solid and feels durable. The design is user-friendly and easy to clean, which makes daily use very convenient. Overall, it’s a great product and definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable air fryer.

This machine has changed my life. For the longest, I have avoided cooking anything in the oven. I am a plant-based kinda person and so many things go faster (with less energy) in a pan/pot vs. the oven. However, this air fryer has totally changed how I cook. I often air-fry veggies before adding them to soups... yummy =) super easy to clean. Love the fact that you can open and close during the cooking without compromising the results. My pre-teen kids' love to make some sweet potato chips by themselves which is nice and gives parents a break. The only comment I have for the developers is to reconsider the message on the display. When not in use, the machine displays the word OFF. I would prefer something more positive. Like "have a great day, or what'cha cooking today?". We just keep the drawer a tad open to show no display at all. ;P Other than that 5 STARS... definitely recommended =)
