Good for adult ESL
Despite being the Internet Age, looking things up the old-fashioned way still has benefits, and this dictionary makes it a joy to learn with all the pictures that help visualize and comprehend. Because it is so well-illustrated, you can't help but browse and learn new things instead of just specifically looking things up. Makes the process much more entertaining.Everything is done so well for ease of use. You can't get that on a smartphone or browser.I also love the reference section in the back. So much learning material, even for adults.

Nice
921 pages of words + a page of abbreviations, and a page of signs and symbols. This dictionary it thick and beautiful. Definitely makes it easier on kids to find the definition of the word they are looking for. Plus, it allows them to learn to look for words the old fashioned way. Which I prefer. I'm not a fan of my kids depending on electronics. So this Webster dictionary will be handy and helpful. Completely pleased with my purchase.

Good dictionary for kids
I personally like this dictionary. It is easy to read and comes with lots of pictures which my son really likes. Also has letter tabs on the right that are color coordinated to help find words faster.

Great resource
Great way to show children how to learn the meaning of words. Had to explain to my kid this is what we had before Google.

Great dictionary, doesn’t include maps
So far my kiddos love this dictionary. It’s been a great tool for my 5 year old who’s learning to read and needs to know what everything means. However (and the reason this is 4 stars instead of 5) the 2019 edition of this dictionary DOES NOT include the maps and the reference section is short. Page 924 (the page that shows a North America map in the preview) is the pronunciation guide for various nations, landmarks, and capitals. Cool, but not what my map-loving kid was looking for. It seems like the 2019 edition is about 30 pages shorter than previous editions at the expense of the reference section. Just a heads up for anyone who is looking for a map/reference section!
