Plano Crankbait Organizer Series 3700 Premium Tackle Storage

If you are a spinner bait user then storage is important. I purchased this one due to its size and my fishing bag using this size storage box. I made it work with running 60lbs test line from tip to tip to tip so i could hang the bait higher. If you want a simple solution I suggest one of those square spinner bait boxes… i just wish they would put a handle on those..As a side note if you don’t like the spinner bait holders they come out just like the little dividers

When I first opened the tray, I thought "how is this going to hold a crankbait" because the bins looked so small with the angled dividers. But, low and behold, this thing does a great job of storing all of my small and even some small/medium sized crankbaits. If you store a medium sized crankbait in one of the bins, you likely will only be able to store that one medium bait in that bin. However, some of the bins would comfortably hold 2 smaller sized square billed crankbaits. I am a casual bass fisherman from the bank most of the time, so this tray actually held all of my crankbait inventory. Pleasantly pleased.

Nice job of holding most spinnerbaits. The description did not represent that it would hold buzzbaits, but I figured I would try. But you will need something different for your buzzbaits. Nice solution for the casual bass fisherman who has a small inventory of spinners. I should point out that I use H&H spinners a good bit, and this tray is not meant to store H&Hs from what I can tell. I just use a separate more generic 3600 tray for the H&H spinnerbaits.

The box is well made (5 stars), but if you don't have thick enough wire on your spinners, the lure just drops to the bottom of the box (1 star).

I wound up using this box for my 1/2 oz jigs. It holds 20 and keeps them in place. No more digging in a box for loose jigs, no more chipped paint and and getting stuck with hooks!

I was looking for a way to organize my spinnerbaits but not have to carry a container separate from my tackle box. This product is great. Fits plenty of spinnerbaits and fits right into the bottom of my tackle box. Took me a minute to figure out how to use it (you have to put your spinner in hook up with the neck in the plastic slot, then hook the arm into one of the small grooves) but once I did it worked nicely. Everything stays in place and is east to find.

I found that this design works well for the majority of the spinner baits I have, but not all. I have a couple large ones I use for Pike/Musky and they are really too large to fit in a single holding spot. If I angle them and take up a few spots, then they fit OK. I also have some small spinners I use for panfish and they don't fit in snug enough to stay secure. The rest of my spinner baits work well and those make up the majority of my collection, so overall I'm happy with this purchase.

I like this small spinnerbait box because it is compact and will fit inside my small tackle bag and is more convenient than larger boxes. The latches seem sturdy as do the tabs and plastic components, as all Plano products are (in my experience). My only complaint is it can be tricky to get the spinnerbaits into the slots, because a decent amount of pressure is needed. Furthermore, crankbaits won't fit in here.
