Would like the plug inn to be longer to light up the lights. Other then that I love it.

Recently, the brake light on scooter stopped working and then the mudflap came off somehow, so I was left with no kinda of light to alert drivers of my presence in the dark. So I purchase this item thinking that not only could I have the coolest scooter on the block, but I'd have some kind of warning light to help drivers see me in the darkness. Unfortunately, that is not the case. While the lights do work and are amazing, the biggest downfall is that there is something wrong with the connecting parts (the strings of lights to the battery pack). No what I do, when I'm riding my scooter all it takes is a few bumps from the road and the connection comes apart. I've ensured that the lights are plugged into the port properly and have even tried different kinds of tape wrapped around it, but somehow it still comes undo when I ride my scooter. Also, the adhesive that came it sucks. It's kinda like the second you remove the backing, you only have. 5secs to adhere it to both the lights and your scooter before it becomes un-usable. Luckily I have my stuff that is holding so no biggie. But I do hate the fact that my lights keep coming undone with the tiniest little bump everytime I'm on my scooter.

Installation was ok, but had to adjust the wires for the physical nature of the scooter (ninebot). Wires kind of just hang over the hinge part where the scooter folds, there is no good way to route them without binding the wires into the hinge on the scooter. Adhesive was ok but the front of the LED stirps came off after a week or so, even after alcohol prep, etc. I used a bunch of zip ties to make it work, but then the led strips just failed- one entirely and one only about 2 inches of the strip worked after a few weeks, which was literally I think 2 or 3 rides. And yes, design lacks.. you have to undo the usb, undo the velcro, slide the battery pack out to turn it on, then put it all back. Again, great in concept but the design should be thought out a little bit and the strips should last more than a week.

It works really good, easy to install and really bright lights. 4 stars because I’m having a hard time changing colors. I keep pressing the button to change colors and nothing happens, but it could be just me.

Whoever designed this really didn't think things through. Its a nice concept but defiantly needs to be worked on. First of all it comes with 3m tape that you stick to the bottom of the scooter. Thats fine but its starting to fall off just after a month. Next you have a battery pack inside of this small pack. Its really annoying because you need to literally un strap this bag and get the pack out so you can flip a switch and give the lights power. Also the wiring is really silly since it hits my front wheel and it literally fell off from the small clip that holds it in place. The lights are fine no complaints, however the way that it is wired and given power is terrible and should be fixed.
