We had 125 feet of 3/4 inch heavy duty hose on our hose reel. My wife used it to water her plants around the back and side of the hose. Her shoulder started bothering her when she was dragging that hose around so she wanted a lighter hose. We ordered this hose and she is happy with it. Lots easier to drag around and does not bother her shoulder at all. I tested it against the bigger hose and the jets of water were the same. I even like it better because it is so much easier to reel in. I will warn not to try to drag it against sharp corners. The material will catch. Can't address how long it would last as only have had it in service a couple of weeks.

I didn’t expect to get a good quality 100ft garden hose for under $30 (including 9% tax)I’ve gone through 3 in 3 summers because they do rip easily, but I tried going back to using the old fashioned rubber (whatever it’s made of) hose and I can’t handle 100ft. It’s too heavy and kinks all the time. I have to stop what I’m doing and try to fold it the opposite way to unkink it so my water runs. Then wrapping it up neatly when I’m done is a joke. It’s got a mind of it’s own. I gave the dang thing away. I will keep buying this type of hose and if or when it breaks like the others, then I will be searching for a good deal on another like I did when I found this one. The compact size it shrinks to and ease of use… priceless!

This is not the first one of these hoses that I have ordered. These are wonderful hoses, but they will not last outside in the sunshine. As a result, they need to be brought inside after each usage. Otherwise, they will not last 6 months. The fact that they are lightweight and collapsable is a real plus!

What a surprise, out of the box the 100 foot product is light, pliable, soft and maybe 25 feet long. When water pressure is applied it grows as advertised to full 100 feet and is very easy to pull around the yard and garden. The nozzle that comes with it is good quality and has useful modes for all your yard and gardening needs. When finished watering, secure the water pressure and release the water to have the hose shrink back to a very soft and pliable 25 feet very easy to store. Well worth the money!

Awesome! Just like the other positive reviewers have stated, it’s very lightweight and shrinks waay up when the water empties out. Why oh why didn’t I get this years ago?? It’s sooo much better than a traditional hose! The sprayer that comes with it works so well, too. And the overall price is cheap. Score!

Great hose! I love that I can store it into a little bucket. When I’m almost done watering the plants I turn the water off and it slowly contracts so it can store easily. I had a regular 50ft hose that was a pain to store in the space we have. No more fighting with the hose.

I love the idea of this hose. We hardly use ours and had it stored on a hose hanger in the shade, and when I turned it on today, it burst, rendering it unusable. Waste of $50.

First 2 weeks-great. No problems, performed like you would expect. Week 3 the brass connector is already leaking in the middle. If you thought I might just be one who is hard on stuff - I was using this hose to water my 2 garden boxes. That’s it. It was never attached to a sprinkler, never wound up on a reel. Just laid in a heap next to the spigot when not in use, then pulled out to water garden. Ease of use got 4 stars because it is pretty easy to hook up and go. Value for the money got a 2/5, the cost is low and so is the value so I guess they didn’t lie.
