Wonderful Fashion Men's Linen 8 Panel Applejack Gatsby newsboy IVY Hat

I'm not sure what everyone else got (considering the high number of good reviews), but what I got was a cheap piece of paper towel thin fabric hat that looks like it was stitched together by a child. The elastic in the hat (that allows it to be "one size fits all") makes the hat king of poof out and look like a mushroom head. I purchased a different hat (made by Epoch) for just a few dollars more, at the same time. The difference is like comparing a rock to a pristine diamond. For just a few dollars more, the other hat is 100% wool and fits perfectly. When side by side, there is no comparison. This hat isn't worth the money.

I utterly adore this hat! I'm all about the flat top caps and this one is well made and very comfortable.

I have a big head. 23 1/8" - right between L & XL. This fits great. It was a little tight the very first day, but it has an elastic strap in the back and it broke in quite nicely over the course of a week. It's 100% linen, not extremely fine but decent enough quality. This is made by "Wonderful Fashion" and I really like the cut of this newsboy cap - it has the extra fabric and "poofy" quality that I see in the old-timey photos. I originally got the "putty" and liked it so much I got another in dark gray - at this price I couldn't resist. I love this cap.

This thing feels like its made out of paper. no shape to it whatsoever. It's nothing like the picture in the ad. If you look at the pic in the ad and zoom in you can definitely see there's a huge difference in the materials used. The one in the ad shows a thick woven cap but the one i got is something you'd get in a cheap halloween costume. And they knew that they were shipping out junk because they don't allow refunds. Don't waste your money on this and I'd be wary about ordering anything from this seller.

It's a little tight, but then again I've got a pretty fat head. Wearing it for the second day in a row and it seems to be loosening up a little bit.I'm only docking it a star because the manner in which the tag was attached to the hat damaged the inner lining and the outer fabric a bit. Hasn't progressed to a full tear yet, but the fabric is certainly compromised when they attach it at such a weak area of the hat.It's a bit more comfortable to wear than a similar hat I own that's made out of wool, this one tends to breathe a bit and doesn't make my scalp sweat. Doesn't get as cold where I live compared to a good portion of the country, so this was a big selling point for me.One tip I'd like to offer: It comes packaged in a flat bag, so spray it with some water and toss it in the dryer on the lowest heat setting for a few minutes to get rid of the creases in it. Mine had a big fold that went from the center button clear to the brim of the bill. Easy enough fix, not worth docking a star for.

I've placed a lot of orders on Amazon for newsboy hats, searching for the best one, and money is not a factor. Surprisingly, this one tied for best even though the price tag is so cheap. Most newsboy hats are too skimpy on fabric and the elastic band is usually so tight that it induces headaches for some of us in the L/XL category. But this one fits comfortably and has a little extra puffiness to it, though not extremely puffy. It's probably not a mid-summer hat, it's more like Spring/Fall. I've bought three of them and hope that more colors become available.

I'm not gonna return this hat, not worth the hassle. It's got some perma wrinkles in it that ruin the "lay" of the hat, tried steaming them, ironing them, spraying with water and tumbling in the dryer - nothing worked. Then the snap that holds the hat down in the front to the brim has a plastic peice inside that is supposed to make the fabric conform to the contour of the brim -is upside down inside. They attached it backwards, so now you can see the wings of the plastic poking up on both sides of the snap area. Disappointed, it could have been a cool hat.

It was a little tight upon initial wear, but I have since stretched the elastic out a bit and think it'll be a fine hat for me. This one of my favorite styles and appears to be made well; the material is light weight enough for comfort, but still keeps my head warm enough.

Brought this for a dear friend as a gift. He absolutely loved it. Fits really well.

It was not cut right and looked like it had creases that should not have been there. These creases made the hat look bad. I wouldn't wear it.

Not at all as per description. Maybe it's made of linen, but covered with some ugly shiny film that make it look like you wear something made or a black garbage bag. Returning immediately
