Pop Up Parables and Other Bible Stories; 48 Pages Reproducible Patterns

This was just OK. The little foldables are cute but they are kind of complex. I bought them to use with my Sunday school class but I think I would have to do a lot of cutting before hand because some of the pop up parts have intricate pieces to cut. A child would have to have great manual dexterity to cut these! I think they would be great to do with your own kids...but not so much for a group of kids.

Great book! I haven't read all of the stories yet, but so far, I haven't found any inaccuracies. So far, I've only had the opportunity to use one of the pop-ups with my class, but the kids loved the extra touch of the pop-up, and it was simple and quick to cut and fold them. I definitely reccomend this book for children's Bible classes - at home or at church.

The book is okay. It's too complex for a 4yr old. This may work for 8 and up. Also, this is all black and white. I assumed there would be some color.

If I can't figure out how to do the pop ups, be sure the kids can't. 🤔 Otherwise, great.

The story lines, etc. are good, and the pop-ups are special - with understandable instructions. I should think children of all ages would love them.

Black & white, you create the pop-ups, instructions are quite long for children, I believe it would work great for Sunday school

I use this with my Sunday school kids and they LOVE the "movement" of the books!

Kids love it

This book is far better than I could have imagined. I thought it was just a basic children's book of parables with pop-ups, but it's better! There are 32 parables in the book that are designed for colouring in. There are words and images which tell the story. You photocopy as many as you like, fold them over and bits are cut out to create a little pop-up book. It's much more interesting than just a flat colouring sheet. I do the prep work beforehand: copying, cutting and gluing the books. It doesn't take long; I use a craft knife and a wooden cutting board. We will get so much out of this book for years to come!

Great reproducible handout. 1 page coloring that can be folded into a little booklet. I found the cuts and folds needed to be done by an adult to make them work well. I would have liked a little more variety in the formats but good filler activity as you wait for kids to arrive or take away for coloring in the service to reinforce the story.
