Very Helpful For Fog Light Installation
I used these during installation for my 11th gen Honda Civic. Since the car did not come with fog lights in the US, I purchased aftermarket fog lights. I used these to tap into the BLUE driver side headlight wire to power the fog lights.Note: I had to cut a small slit in the head light wire due to these not penetrating the wire to access the raw wire for power. I tried several times by lining up the blue wire and screwing down hard, but it wouldn’t cut through the wire. BUT once this small adjustment was made, these made life easy and worked flawlessly. I recommend them for sure!

These work great!
I wish had had discovered these years ago. They make tapping wires super quick and easy and the connections seem very solid. I never trusted other types of taps after seeing several failures, so I was either soldering or splicing with crimps and then heat shrink and that was always a very long and time consuming process. These are just make things so fast and easy - you can tap into a wire with a solid connection in mere seconds and a wiring project that might have taken 30 minutes before only takes 5.

Best product
Will only use these for wiring fast and easy and last. Had done wiring for my trailer lights with these decades ago and still going strong

Buy them!
The most expedient way to tie into another wire. Very effective as it is almost impossible to not do it correctly. They are also reusable. I keep several on hand. Give them a try. In my opinion, they are worth every penny.

Easy to use
Performs better than butt conn. Fit very tight and should hold up well outside. Secure fasteners make me think is could be waterproof

A perfect solution for my 2016 RAV4 Hybrid with JBL stereo!
I wanted to replace the dash speakers in my 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid with the JBL sound system. In this configuration, there is no commercially available harness that matches the wiring plug.I purchased 3.5" Kicker speakers from a well-known electronics site, and they came with lead wires that were pre-stripped at the ends. After unplugging the old speakers, these Posi-Tap connectors enabled me to tap into the positive and negative wires just behind the plug, then connect the lead wires coming from the speaker. Wiring up each dash speaker in this manner took less than five minutes and required no splicing or crimping, with minimal impact to the wires if ever I wanted to remove the Posi-Taps.I encourage anyone in a similar situation to strongly consider these connectors as a solution.

Super convenient way to tap wires
I recently found myself installing a head unit for the first time and was struggling with figuring out a safe, non-permanent, effective way to tap into the existing wires in my vehicle's dash. I came across these and they work perfectly. Super strong connection in terms of both electrical and physical, and super easy to re-use. I made the mistake of tapping the wrong wire (which is why you always double check with a multimeter!) and removing the tap was just as easy as putting it on, and the hole left in the wire was easy to cover back up with a little bit of heat shrink. Highly recommended.
