Very fresh, purchased recently (sept 2025) and it has a 2027 best by date. I checked numerous places and this was the best price by far. There is a shortage, worldwide - which I knew nothing about. If you need it, this is a good buy.

Heavenly. I grew up in Australia. Australians have Lamingtons. These are small square cakes covered in chocolate with a layer of coconut on the outside. The best Lamingtons were coated in sweetened stranded coconut. This one is not stranded but it is moist and sweetened. The very best I have had on this side of the planet. It is so good the first packet went without even making Lamingtons...... Any sweet or desert that has coconut can only be improved by this moist yummy stuff.

This is lovely coconut but the size for the price is just not worth the expense

Sweetened coconut is a game changer when making carrot cake; it makes the cake so moist. It is shredded in such a way it adds texture to the cake and is not lost in the batter mix.
