Reusable and great
My favorite part of this product is that it is reusable. For those that want to limit their waste and not worry about bleached filters, this is a perfect product. It fits well inside the aero press and cleans easily. I have not seen any rust forming over the last few months. I highly suggest this product.

Great product!
I've been using an Aeropress for almost 10 years now. Was introduced to it by a barista I was traveling with in Costa Rica. Since then I've used it at home, camping, and traveling for family during the holidays. Really happy to make the switch from the paper filters to a reusable filter. Had my first cup with it today and it tasted great! I would highly suggest this product!

It does effect the cup experience!
I am a coffee lover, and my aeropress has become my default way to enjoy my coffee beans that i roast at home. I have been able to dial in an inverted method that, with good coffee beans, rivals the best pour overs I can buy at good coffee shops. That said, I was interested to see how this metal filter would effect my aeropress experience. Just after one try I can assert, confidently, that this filter does provide for a more robust and flavorful coffee. I noticed it immediately upon my first sip, and throughout the cup. It is a bit of a challenge to get on the aeropress when inverted (I am sure I will figure this out soon enough), and tightening it is a bit firmer as well. Even with the challenge of securing the filter and its constituent part, this is well worth the challenge as it makes the coffee tastier--and that is the point! I recommend for those who are serious about coffee and use the inverted press method, and are okay with a bit of an added challenge/inconvenience, simply because they want a better cup.

MESH filter, way better then Aeropress version
First bought the Aeropress version. Figured go with the actual maker, right? But it just POURED water through, no time to mix. Would have to switch to inverted brew style, too much work, not enough coffee. So decided to give this MESH version a try. Pretty good. Water trickles through only a little faster then paper filters. So you can do your normal routine. After brewing, just pull up the plunger quickly an inch and grounds are in tube and filter in the holder. Easy dump. First week some grounds clumps stuck to filter. Now it almost always is clean. Just a quick rinse is needed.

Mesh reusable filter
This works as advertised, very fine mesh to keep coffee grounds out of my coffee. Easy to clean. I have been using it for about 6 months since I bent my Aeropress filter. It works the same and I am more careful where I put the filter in the sink so I don't bend this one.

Durable but Will Drain Through Without Some Tweaking
Here's how I got this to work correctly:1. Pack the coffee powder down into the Aeropress using the coffee scoop provided.2. Pour your water into the press.3. Stir BRIEFLY (5 seconds max).4. Put the plunger in so it sits just in the top of the Aeropress. This creates a vaccuum and the liquid doesn't all leak out.Add water to the number 3 on the Aeropress for coffee. If you stir too long, half of the water will leak out through the filter, resulting in a weak coffee. Don't stir if you're making a double or less espresso or the most of the liquid will leak out before pressing. If you don't pack the coffee powder first, the same leaking problem happens. Same if you don't place the plunger like I mentioned in number 4. To make up for the lack of stirring, I set a timer for 6 minutes after pouring the water to begin pressing. Adjust the time to taste. I like it pretty strong. If you can do all of this, you'll never need another filter again. By the way, I grind french roast as fine as I can get it in an electric (not burr) grinder and it still leaks half the liquid or more no matter how fine I get it unless I follow the above steps. For all of those reasons, I gave it 3 stars. Still makes some of the best coffee/espresso I ever had.
