Update: 2/27/22. We have had this product now about 2 1/2 years. And it operates just as well as it did the first day. No issues.ProsVery easy to set up to Wi-Fi. Mine connected first time. Easy visible amount of food remaining. Cleans easily. Can dispense 1-99 Grams. Sometimes I just want to give 1 gram a few nibbles to keep him happy. Some automatic cat feeders only start at 5 grams which is about ¼-1/3 cups. We set up feed times at 4am, 1pm, and 7pm. Feeding a 3 gram portion each feeding time. Also has a history page of when it was dispensed including if you did it manually.Photo and Videos: Can take manual photographs or manual videos. Sound quality is great/fantastic and loud. We set up our own voice, and just after dispensing the food automatically, the wife’s recorded voice speaks loud and clear. The video quality is crystal clear and sharp, and I mean really good. Has infrared lights for night time viewing. Can shut all led lights on or off on the unit via phone. Stores Automatic videos on the Sd card with very organized labeling.From your Phone: Video quality can be set at 1080P, 540p, or 360p. Has a full screen button which fills the entire screen of your phone. We have it in our kitchen at one end of the room and you can see the entire room and really close up of the Cat when he is eating. Has indicator of how much food is left in the hopper. Has indicator of the battery level. With the SD card installed you can set the automatic Video recording to: anytime food is dispensed, continuous all day, or just when the schedule time dispenses. You can set the amount of time you want it to record from 1-10 minutes.On the Feeder: Button to dispense food. Power led light and Wi-Fi led light. Lid to hopper snaps securely and releases with a button. On off power button in back of unit.Wi-Fi. I have the latest Netgear Router and and Comcast 50gb internet speed with a strong signal at the feeder, yet the app takes well over 1 minute to load, sometimes even longer.Overall: The unit is short and stubby, which means it won’t tip over. Wish it had motion detection installed. No cat feeder offers this feature yet. I would rather have that then the other 3 methods they offered for video recording. Alas, you can’t have it all. I think you get more bang for the buck in this feeder than others I researched. The price was also a compelling feature. The Video I am extremely happy with.Update: 55 days later. Feeder works just as advertised. Left home on vacation three times for four days at a time and Feeder schedule Fed on time, camera works great from out of town. Manually fed cat a couple times on the side, work great. Camera loads very quickly now at home and away, extremely happy with this product.Update: 3/26/20 unit is still working fantastic. App uploads very quickly now.

I bought this so that if I was running late or wanted to overnight somewhere, my dog would get fed appropriately at her usual time and I could pay a walker for a bedtime walk. While it appears to have fed her on time, it would never stay attached to WiFi. It also doesn’t take a picture of her eating so I am not sure what the camera purpose was? Also, my dog was scared of it, to the point that she stopped wanting to come into the kitchen where I had it placed next to her water bowl. My pup is a 40 pound rescue. Finally, it has a weird way of measuring food - instead of using ounces or such, it’s a generic number up to 99.I bought this intending to be reassured my grrl got her food on time. But because the WiFi connection never stayed connected according to the app, and because the camera was useless, I was still always unclear about whether food has dispensed. That, plus my grrl being afraid of it, means I had to send it back.

Pro - once set up it will dispense food as long as it is plugged in according to the times you set it for inside the appCon - I can't access the audio/video if I'm not connected to the same wifi as the feeder. Details I have read state that as long as the feeder is connected to the wifi then it can be accessed anywhere and any time...from your phones data or another WiFi network...which is incorrect.

I bought this for my cat who needs frequent, small feedings to lose weight while preventing vomiting (occurs when her stomach is empty or if she eats too much).The camera, speakers and scheduled feedings work perfectly as advertised. I have not had any trouble maintaining WiFi connection (the feeder is in the same room as the router).Initially I thought the serving size was larger than advertised but after using a digital kitchen scale to weigh the servings I found they range from 6-8 grams per unit.It was difficult to find a feeder to dispense up to 12 feedings with smaller servings. This fit my needs perfectly and is working perfectly.

I love the automatic pet feeder since you can set it on a timer and know that your cats (or small dog) will get fed a certain amount at a certain time. Having a non traditional work schedule isn’t always convenient, especially when I come home and the cats are begging for food around an empty food bowl. The camera function is also great to be able to check on them and make sure everything is in order at home. There’s also a microphone function which is neat. I’ve also figured out by having spotty internet that the feeder still sticks to the feeding schedule even when offline.

Product works great, just took a bit to connect to WiFi, but other than that it is awesome!

I love this it makes feeding my cats so easy. It controls the amount they get so they aren’t overweight and I get to see them when we are on trips.
