Ideal for the job
Used this to remove old sealant in a shower cubicle. it was easy, quick and free of mess. The product is quick and easy to apply and dissolves old sealant in half an hour. It is then possible to wipe off with paper towel, clean and apply new sealant.

Silicone remover
I ordered this product not knowing how effective it would be at helping me remove old silicone from around the shower. But to my amazement after following the instructions on the can, the job turned out to be a lot easier than i thought. No tough scraping to remove the silicone it came away so easy, and in comparison to other products that do the same job, you get far more product in this can for your money compared to other products which do the same job. Would buy this product again with no hesitation.

You need patience and you still need elbow grease.
had to leave it on for at least half an hour to have any effect, even then too much scraping was needed along with repeat applications to remove remnants. I've used a much better silicone remover but have forgotten the name and can't find it, perhaps the chemicals have since been banned. I left it on overnight in the end to no avail, at least it didn't discolour or do any damage, I can't recommend it.
