Being a new pool owner, I was looking for a meter to help quickly and easily measure ph to make sure chemicals were properly balanced. I found this meter and decided to give it a go since it also came with an additional device to help measure the temperature. Both meters came in convenient carrying cases and were easy to use straight out of the box and have large, easy to read.

You need to calibrate your PH Tester with the 3 provided sachets.Add them to 250ml of water and then follow the instructions. Pressing the "cal" button varying times.Once calibrated the tester is ready to use. Just pop it in any solution and it will give you a readingI bought this to test my soil for my garden to help me better care for my veg. Took some soil mixed it into distilled water and then took readings.

I got a little water inside the PH meter when trying to rinse it off initially, but I took the batteries out and allowed it to dry completely and it seemed to work afterward. The TDS meter seemed to work perfectly to test tap water

The ec meter seems to work fine however the was no buffer solution to calibrate the ph meter, so I’m returning the item.

Good ph tester ,,did not come with the solutions like it said it should so I’m goin to have to buy them separate now .

I need a more precise pH of the spa, this is the answer! Excellent equipment, easy to use, allowing me to make some small changes to keep the pH level correct instead of using sticks that are not good enough. But one!

calibrated with 6.86 buffer powder from new, checked a couple of different watersagainst a tropical fish API test kit pretty accurate.after several weeks I calibrated it again with 4.01 buffer powder no matter what I test nowit all reads ph 3.99. So purchased and used 6.86 buffer powder from Amazon today, still reading 3.99 .all calibrations carried out with distilled water at 25c . I will have to return it .

In todays society, we should all be drinking pure water,.I believe each and everyone of us deserves consumable water and NOT water that is laden with chemicals, including fluoride! Therefore, I choose to test my water and this is just one of the many ways I go about it. The human body needs an alkaline balance in order to function, without it, disease and illness, sets in. As a consequence, I distill, test my water and, eat a healthy diet, no meat either...and yes, it makes a HUGE difference to my life.
