YOU SEE IT RUBBING ITS LEGS together right on top of your farm-fresh fruit. Another one buzzing in the air carrying disease from the garbage and animal manure where it was feasting minutes ago. BETTER THAN ALL THE REST: 1) it’s safe for kids and pets, 2) can be used anywhere - no electricity/power cord needed, 3) set and forget REUSABLE buy once, use for life HOW TO SETUP AND USE: PLEASE CHECK THE VIDEOS BELOW FOR EASY ASSEMBLY 1) use any standard empty plastic (soda) bottle (note: bottle not included), 2) fill 10-15% of the bottle with a mix of 4 parts water, 2 parts sugar/honey/syrup, 1 part vinegar, several pieces sweet fruit and 3-4 drops of dish soap, 3) place the product on the bottle.(make sure it fits under the biggest ring of the bottleneck) WHERE TO PLACE: See what attracts flies, and place it in the area. At home, flies are attracted to fruit on the countertop, crumbs on the table, aquariums, drains, garbage bins, etc. Outside, or in the barn, flies go to decomposing particles, pets, livestock animals, fecal waste, etc.

Once placed properly -- works great!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Initially, it did take me a little bit to figure out how to put it on the bottle.. but once I did, it turned out not to be that hard at all. And once placed properly, it worked great! Check out the video I made so you don't struggle like me.

Not what I had hoped
Bought for fruit flies in the house. So far...none inside. Not sure if I'm doing the cap wrong. I do have two college degrees, but don't feel I've put it on quite right. Maybe seller should post a video for how to assemble on Amazon. Have had more luck in the past with just putting an apple-vinegar solution in a cup with saran wrap on top with a few poked holes. Sigh. I was hopeful.

Doesn’t work
Watched a fruit fly walk down into the bottle and walk back out without hesitation. On top of that and of lessor importance it will NOT WORK on an Aquafina bottle at all.I’ve left the cheaper thinner plastic bottle hanging up for the last 4 days... 0 (zero) kills. In the meantime a glass drinking glass with 2” of Apple Cider Vinegar and a drop of “Dawn” liquid has killed 7.

Good product.
I could not get this to fit on a water bottle but I did get it to work with a small canning jar. Other than it not fitting on a water bottle, it does the job.

Great. Fits various bottles.. Easy to use effectively.
I had been told by friends in Italy this was a great product. And it is! I had trouble putting it on a bottle so I emailed the company. Fabulous customer service- they responded almost immediately with a video showing exactly how to install. Ready for the wasps now!

Cheaper than disposable but as effective.
Works well. A bit hard to figure out. We had a bit of a tough time getting it to work on a soda bottle. Worked well on a cheap liquor plastic bottle. We baited it with banana peels and mango peels. Within a couple hours it started trapping flies.

Disappointed
Stupid things don’t even fit. Must be sales guy’s friends writing these 5 star reviews. Lame.

It Works!
It did take me a few minutes to figure out how to attach it to a bottle. With that solved, it took me a couple of days to get the right mix of bait (apple cider vinegar, orange juice, and a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid). What a relief!
