Worked perfectly
**Reliable and Compact 500-Watt Heater – A Great Value for Small Spaces**This compact 500-watt heater is designed for efficiency and simplicity, and it delivers exactly what it promises. It’s not going to heat a large, drafty room, but it does an admirable job providing supplemental warmth in smaller spaces like an office, bedroom, or near your desk.**Design and Build Quality**The heater is incredibly small and lightweight, making it easy to move around and position where you need it most. Its design is minimalistic, with a two-prong polarized AC cord for a standard 110V outlet. The power cord stays cool to the touch even after 24 hours of continuous use, which speaks to the overall safety and electrical efficiency of the unit. The exterior casing also remains cool, except for the front vent where warm air is released. This thoughtful design reduces the risk of accidental burns if touched.**Performance**While 500 watts isn't enough to heat an entire room, it’s perfect for targeted warmth. Place it near your feet while working at a desk, or keep it beside your bed on a cold night, and you'll definitely feel the difference. The heater doesn’t come with a thermostat, which may seem like a drawback at first, but it actually adds to its reliability—fewer components mean fewer points of failure. It simply has an on/off switch and a safety tip-over switch, which shuts the unit off if it gets knocked over.**Safety Features**In addition to the tip-over switch, the heater also includes an overheat protection feature. If it detects excessive heat, it automatically shuts off. To reset, you’ll need to unplug it, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool down, and then plug it back in. While this isn’t as seamless as having a built-in thermostat, it’s a solid safety measure.**Energy Efficiency**At 500 watts, this heater consumes far less power than larger space heaters, making it an economical choice for localized heating. It’s a great option if you want to avoid driving up your electricity bill while keeping a small area comfortable.**Final Thoughts**You’re not getting bells and whistles with this heater—no digital display, no temperature control—but what you do get is reliable performance, built-in safety features, and a compact design. For the price, this little heater punches above its weight and delivers excellent value. If you need something small, dependable, and easy to use, this heater is a smart purchase.

I am very happy with this heater.
Small package produces a lot of heat. Cord for ac 110 connection is 2 prong polarized. After 24 hours of steady use the casing remains cool, except for the air vent grill in front of the element. Power cord is cool to the touch. This is an economical "tiny" heater of 500 watt won't heat a big drafty room, but it will help. There is no thermostat control, just an on off switch. (And a tip over switch.) There also appears to be an "overheat" function, remove from power and wait 30 min. Then plug back in and turn on. No thermostat probably improves reliability. You get what you pay for and in this case your money is well spent.

Great space heater for room
Good for small areas but will heat up a room, not noisy at all, easy to move from room to room. Light weight and great quality.

Upgraded After Testing
Update #1 11-01-23I decided to do some testing of the product.1. Only the front of the heater gets hot during use. The sides, top, back and bottom remain at room temperature. This is at odds with what the Safety notes say.2. If you lift the heater or tilt it, it automatically shuts itself off. If you then proceed to set it right, it automatically begins working again. Combining #1 with #2 it means that you can easily move or turn the heater while plugged in, though I wouldn't recommend moving it more than a short distance without turning it off.3. The heat blows in a narrow range slightly upwards. It is very hot close to the heater. I tested this using a ruler. I held the ruler in front of the heater for about a minute and then pulled it away. The ruler was extremely hot up to the first eight inches. After that the ruler got progressively cooler up to about 14 inches at which point you couldn't feel any heat at all on the ruler.4. I used it all night in a small bedroom which does not have central heating. The heater did a nice job of heating the entire bedroom though it wasn't very cold last night, far better than the 250-watt heater I was previously using in that bedroom.5. When I used the heater in the bedroom I had it connected to a surge protector and not directly to an empty wall socket which I don't have available in that bedroom. The safety notes say not to do this, and I would recommend not doing this, but I am okay with it.All in all, it does the job nicely for which I purchased it, though again it wasn't very cold last night. I am only giving it a four-star rating because of the safety notes. They should have been published on this website or prominently linked to another website since there are so many of them and some potential buyers would find they make the unit prohibitive as a purchase. I ignored the direct connect safety note, however again, I would not recommend others do this. --------------------------------------------------I thought I could replace a 250 Watt heater with this one and get some additional warmth. Unfortunately, the safety list tells me not use this heater in my bedroom since I don't have a free outlet in the bedroom where I can plug the heater in, at a minimum of 3 feet from anything that might catch on fire or that is on their list of do not use.The list of where one should not use the heater is seemingly endless, Of course, it is for the consumer's protection, I get that.1. It includes things like don't touch it when operating.2. When in use only move it with the handle, which I couldn't find.3. Unplug it when not in use.4. Don't use on a carpet.5. Don't run the cord over a carpet or under a carpet.6. Don't use in a bathroom.7. Don't use in a laundry room.8. Don't use with children in the area.Plus, many more don't use situations.I am surprised it didn't say don't use with pets in the area or maybe it did, and I just forgot since I don't have a pet at this time.Anyway, the list of don't use situations, convinced me to not use it at all except in an absolute chilling emergency. I will just keep it stored away in case that emergency happens rather than bother returning it.I rated it a one out of five for three reasons.1. With so many don't use safety instructions, they should be on the Amazon website where the item is sold or at a minimum prominently linked to a website that lists them. You buy something you want to be able to use it.2. The instructions say, move only with a handle when in use and my unit did not come with a handle.3. According to the instruction list, the product is not safe for use with children, handicapped, elderly or pets in the area. Since I am elderly and not that mobile, I figured it wasn't wise for me to use except an absolute chilling emergency. It probably works great and that is why it has a high rating. i just like to follow the instructions and the instructions tell me in my circumstance that I should not use it.

Works great!
This works great. I use it at my office where all the windows make for a cold space in the winter! The auto shutoff when it tips is a nice safety feature. It heats nicely and the price was reasonable!
