Best Little Plastic Waving Cat You'll Ever Buy!
This thing is just cool. I love these kind of offbeat "good luck" things. He does need pretty direct sunlight to wave enthusiastically. In lower light, his wave gets kinda wimpy, reflecting a typical cat's "who cares?" attitude.I've got him on a window sill. My skeptical wife raised the question, "How do you know whether he's waving money into the house or throwing it out the window?" This just reflects a bad attitude on her part. You just gotta have faith that the little guy is just hauling in money and luck by the bagful.Maybe when I win the lottery because of this cat, I won't give my wife any of it :)

Didn't realize solar powered means inactive often...
This is cute, but I never gave much thought to the solar power aspect deterring it from keeping the movement going. As a result I had to move it to a new location where it gets maximum sunlight and the second the light starts to dim, the cat stops moving. Pretty bummed, but I'm chalking it up to user error (should have thought it through more) on this purchase.

Lucky Kitty!
Lucky Kitty sits on the window sill and waves from sunrise to sunset. His arm does make a little clicking sound, so he might not be a great choice for a room where you need silence. Yes, he is plastic, but a shiny, yellow/gold plastic that is part of his kitschy charm. A fun item!

Quality Plastic Lucky Cat
After watching Season 2 of "Sherlock", my wife wanted a "lucky cat". With her birthday approaching, I set out to find one. There are several types of these out on the market but this one seems to be a pretty good quality plastic lucky cat. The construction is better than average for an inexpensive toy and paw waves in low light conditions. However, it is a mostly morning cat as the paw waves very strongly in the morning light.

Was gonna replace it but it seemed like such poor quality that I just decided to refund ...
Cute, but the bottom part was broken. Was gonna replace it but it seemed like such poor quality that I just decided to refund it. It's plastic so I might try to find a better quality one.

Works Great!
The product arrived intact, working, and in brand new condition (I've had issues with a different cat that came broken the first time and defective the second)! I love that when the sunlight is bright enough it will wave fast enough to make a slight ticking noise. This was a gift, and the recipient was very happy with it. I would definitely order this again.

I would not recommend this product
This cat feels really cheap with its plastic build and doesn't really swing unless I use my phone's bright flashlight directed at its solar panels. I would suggest getting a battery powered one instead.

Fast delivery, works great
Got it within a few days, works great in direct sunlight. As other reviewers said, the arm clicks when it moves, but I find it kind of relaxing--like a metronome. If you keep it in your car, I doubt you'll even notice the sound.
