Found Money Mass Market Paperback – June 28, 2011

That's what happens to Amy Parkens and Ryan Duffy who are eventually brought together and search high and low to find the answers to their questions. Little do they know that they're about to become involved in something they never dreamed would happen to them. "FOUND MONEY" is an excellent story of suspense that keeps the reader on his toes. It's got blackmail, murder and just about everything that's needed in a good thriller. I've just recently started reading James Grippando's novels and find them all to be great. As a result, he's been added to my list of favorites. Do yourself a favor and read this book!

I enjoyed the pace of the book. The story was interesting, fast paced, and the main characters are sympathetic. There were twists and turns that kept my attention, while not getting bogged down in minute details.Though not as good as his Swyteck series, this book is an entertaining read.

This author seems to push out one good read after another. Waiting for his next book. I am sure it will be a winner.

amazing plot development with just enough detail to paint pictures in your mind. interesting characters,so many twists and turns to keep you on edge. Gripping has become one of my new favorite authors. I will be reading more of his work.

Again another great book from James Grippando, I love reading his books just can't put them down. Have started onIntent To Kill. I know it will be as good as all the others I have read, 13 all together

Very good book! I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I bought 4 of his books and took 3 of them on a vacation and finished all 3! He is an excellent storyteller!

もし、差出人不明の大金が届いたらどうしますか？この話はそんな事から始まる。幼い時から天文に興味のあったエイミーはある晩ベッドに入った後、母親の自殺を知る。以後現代に至るまで母親の自殺がエイミーの心に暗い影をおとしているが、突然大金が舞い込んできたことで周囲の事態が急変していく。同じ頃、フランク・ダフィーという老人が息を引き取り、その間際に２００万ドルの大金を屋根裏部屋に隠してあることを息子に伝える。息子のライアンは妻の思惑とは違って、儲からない診療所を開業している医師で、そのため離婚話が持ちあがっている。フランクは死ぬ前にこの妻のリズにも大金のことを話したのだろうか。ライアンの憶測は深まって行く。その上、姉のサラまでもが大金の事を口にしだした。その後エイミーとライアンの二人を中心として周囲の人々を巻き込んで事態が急転し、意外な方向に向かう。最後の最後になるまで話が二転三転し、目が離せない。そして意外な結末。　もちろん、大金を前にしたときの人間の変わり様は醜いほど描かれているが、それにも増して人間にとって大切なものとは何かを作者は、４５年前のある闇に葬られた事件やそれに関わった人間の生き様をからめて語っているように思える。血縁や地縁といったどろどろしたものもあり、単なるミステリー以上の作品になっていると思うのだが。結構ハマってしまいました！
