My old battery was getting hot and was no longer holding a charge. I told I was going to have to purchase a new computer. Replacing the battery was much easier than I thought. It fit my Dell Inspiron 15 5570 perfectly.

Don't buy it for a Dell Inspiron 7000 series. I didn't replace the unit when i got it but now that I did... it is too thick and doesn't allow the scroll pad to work. I can loosen the screws and most of the scroll pad will work. I waited couple weeks too long and can't return it... zero stars!
