This mat is durable and thick. It sits on the counter nicely, and it looks good too. It makes for a great place to get the espresso ready to put in my Breville espresso maker. It works well so that the coffee grounds don't get all over the counter.

A barista friend suggested I get one of these. This one was thicker than the others I looked and is terrific, thick enough that I don’t worry about my counter when tapping and tamping and sized a bit narrower than my Breville Barista Express so it fits on my counter without taking up extra space. Since it is silicone it stays in place, but does get espresso dust sticking to it. It cleans up instantly with water and a wipe of a towel to dry it.

This is absolutely perfect for our coffee bar! It fits perfectly and doesn’t slide around. The size is just right. I have no issue opening the drawer under the counter. It’s THICK, so saving my stone counter from all that hard tamping.

This espresso tamping mat is sturdy, well-made, and does a great job protecting my counter while tamping. The non-slip design keeps it in place, and the size is perfect for small spaces. I gave it 4 stars only because I wish it were a bit thicker, but overall, it’s a great value and works really well for daily espresso prep.

Hefty and thick and super easy to clean, size is perfect unless you want it larger. They sent me a lovely cloth with it, i really loved it “even their gift is very high quality” I never said this to any seller but i love you guys.

With my new portafilter basket, I'm finding that I need a more forceful impact to eject the coffee puck. I needed a better surface to avoid damaging the portafilter in the process. This tamping mat promised an extra thick silicone layer, and it delivered! It's nicely built and perfectly crafted. The folded edge sits perfectly with the counter, and it prevents the mat from sliding during the impact. I marked four starts in the easy-to-clean category. This is inherent to the material: particles stick, and it's not easy to do a dry clean in-situ by the tamping drawes. Washing, however, works perfectly. Needless to say, I love the olive green tone. I may get another in a different colour for other purposes.
