Breast BFFLBag

I can not say enough good things about this recovery bag. I surprised my mom with it the day before her surgery and she was so grateful. It was exactly what she needed: toothbrush, hairbrush, pantiliners, probiotic body wash and shampoo/conditioner, socks, etc. All she needed to do that evening was pack her clothes. Her physicians and nursing staff did a great job at providing the post-op supplies but it doesn't hurt to have extra at home for food measure. In addition, BFFL Co. has amazing customer service. They return emails quickly and address inquiries and concerns thoroughly and appropriately. Thank you for an amazing experience with your company. I hope that I never have buy a breast cancer recovery bag again--- but if I do, BFFL Co will be my first choice!

This was not as nice as expected..Cheap contents

I received this as a gift from a family member that is an oncologist Nurse. At first I was impressed with the bag, it's heavy, had handles (no, strap for your shoulder). I looked at the bag when I got home. found a list of items to take for my surgery. Packed some clothes to wear home.I didn't open the bag until the day after having the surgery. My mom took a mint out which my mouth was dry. the hospital provided a toothbrush, toothpaste, lotions and lotions to use since you couldn't shower. mouth wash, socks.For me after having the surgery, I was off and on sleeping for the day and 1/2 in the hospital. I opened the bag to remove my clothes the last day of my hospital stay.With regard to the heart pillow. It's a bean bag type of pillow, heart shape to go under your arm. I used it when I came home but I found it to be too small. The pillow was used by me to help with the drainage tubes that are attached to your skin on the side of your breast that was removed. I found after a week that the pillow wasn't helping since I still had the pain. I was so fortunate to have another pillow that I purchased for my daughter in January of this year (2015), that was much larger. So, I gave the heart pillow to my daughter and this being my 3rd week since my surgery. I sleep, go out and use the pillow from Justice all the time.

A great bag full of fun and helpful items. Going through breast cancer is tough - this colorful bag and its contents still makes me smile.

I had breast cancer and mastectomy 16 years ago and I wish that this bag was available then. It's such a comfort to have all that you need when you go into the hospital. I gave this bag to my friend, Anne. When I visited her after her surgery, she had the pillow under her arm and she loved the Burts Bees lip balm. She even sent me a thank you note on a beautiful note card from the bag.

If you are looking for just the right thing for someone going in for a mastectomy, look no further. This bag had everything I needed and more! I love skinceuticals and all of the great stuff. I used the drain log and all of the supplies. This is a great, great gift for a friend with breast cancer. I also love the name Best friends for life.

My wife recently underwent a double mastectomy and received this bag from a friend of hers who had also undergone this procedure. It was the perfect gift. The contents are well put together and beautifully presented. My wife was very moved by the thoughtfulness of the gift.
