These are lovely mittens. The leather is butter soft and the interior with separate slots for your fingers is bot comfortable and warm. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is sizing. My hands are 7 3/4" from wrist to finger tip and 7.5" around, so long and thin. I generally wear a large or 9 for length. I ordered a large. The fingers and hand itself fit fine, however the elastic for the wrist hit about 1.2" too high. With a short cuff, this leaves the wrist exposed. I fell the design should lengthen the mitt from tip to wrist and make the cuff 1/2 to 1" longer and slightly less flared.Having said all of that, the are wonderfully comfortable, perfect for day to day and work while keeping my hands warm in our subzero temperatures

I lost one Glitten of my first pair, and they are not easy to find. I live in MN, and I do wish they were warmer. They are not made to be outside for any length of time in our winters. However, they are great for driving and running errands. I have had many compliments on these. They are very nice looking and well made. They do run small. Normally I wear a medium glove (sometimes even a small.) A Large in these fit perfectly!

I absolutely love these!! Wow! I live in Chicago and unfortunately am plagued by Raynaud's...bad combination. These mittens have changed how I see winters. I used to wear double layers, i.e. gloves and mittens but my hands would still go numb/lose sensation/turn white within minutes. I have been wearing these mittens all this winter and I can say that my hands have not been affected once! Even this morning when I took the dog for a 15 minute walk with -20 windchills. Amazing, and worth every penny!

Contrary to what I used to believe, having the separated fingers inside the mitten makes them warmer. This is my second pair of leather mittens and I love them (lost one of the first pair). I like the tan color because they are so much easier to find than black. I have Renaud's Syndrome (a mild circulation problem in the extremities) and these keep me warmer than any glove or mitten I have owned. Caution, they seem to run small. I have very long fingers and ordered extra large, my usual size. The thumb is just barely long enough, although the other fingers are fine.

For years, I had a pair of gloves-inside-mittens, what I called "Glittens." They were smooth, fine leather mittens on the outside and microfiber gloves on the inside. I lost them. I was very sad!Did a search here on Amazon for "Mittens with Gloves Inside"--and I found these. I think they cost about twice as much as my old favorites, but I was so glad to find that something like these are still made!The leather is a touch stiff, but I think they'll soften with time. The microfiber inside is soft. They are warm and wonderful, even in bitter cold and for long periods of time. Why others haven't discovered these, I don't know. They're good for walking, good for driving, good for shoveling snow, good for just about everything, except using a smart phone. Sure wish I could shout how great these are from the rooftops!I have large hands--wear a size 9.5 ring. These XL *just* fit. I had considered ordering the L, and I am glad I sized up.Oh, the delight of warm fingers in winter!

These mittens used to be easier to find in stores, and I had to take a chance buying online, not knowing how they'd fit. I ordered a LARGE pair. They fit but the wrists are narrow and seem a bit tight; I'm really hoping they will loosen up since leather usually does stretch and soften. The main "mitt" area seems narrower than the styles I used to easily find, and I've noticed this in mittens by other companies this year. Bad idea to cut down the room to spread your hands inside the mittens; it's not very comfortable at all! The finger length is just about right for my small hands. If you have large hands or long fingers, I can't recommend these. Hoping they work out because this is the type of mitten I like for driving and shoveling.

These mittens are just the greatest and exactly what I needed!! This is my first full winter in Minnesota. None of the gloves I had kept my fingers from getting painfully cold. So my son helped me to research, and discovered these deerskin leather gloves on Amazon! The key to their warmth is the gloves that are inside of these mittens! So it offers a two-in-one bonus protection from the cold! And the leather is so pliable that I can drive easily with them as well as manage car and house keys! An overall winner!! The mittens had different brand tags on them one tag was Pratt and Hart as listed in the ad but the right mitten label was polartec. They were both mediums but the right mitten was more narrow and smaller than the left mitten which seemed fine. The leather grain in the two mittens was also slightly different. The pair was mismatched. I am returning them. They do run small.
