Schecter SGR-Universal/6 Bass Case

I purchased this case for my new Schecter Damien Solo Elite bass. The craftsmanship is first class, and the bass fits very nicely, as does my Warwick Corvette$$. The only thing I didn't like about this case was the interior color, blue, but much to my surprise when it arrived I opened it to find a beautiful red velour interior. I'm a happy camper. Bottom line....best case for my money.

Haven't had a chance to beat it up yet, but the construction seems very solid, and the inside supportive but cushiony, like a good couch. I guess the downside is that it smelled kind of like new carpet when it came, so your Axe might smell funny after being in there a while.

I don't usually write reviews but thought this might help some folks. This case is made in China and smells. With all the health concerns coming out of China (google it), I'm worries that the off gassing of this bass would make me sick or embed it's stink on my bass. It's a cheap case but does it job. It doesn't feel like a $119 case, I would have been please if it was $79'ish. Most of the cost is probably embossing the Schecter name on the top of the case. I did not shop around to see other case quality in this range. Perhaps, this is what you get in that price range. The buckles do feel cheap, as another review stated. I am assuming if you pealed away the blue cover, it's just Styrofoam. I am leaving the case open to air it out. I have a 1990 Fender case that started to stink about 10 years ago because of the glue rotting away, I can't imagine what this would smell like in 10 years. I just bought a Diamond Series P Bass for $295 (new on clearance), great bass and this case was 1/3 of the cost of it.

My Schecter Ultra VI's unusual design left few options that would fit it, however this is the case recommended on the Schecter website. The exterior plastic and interior plush is average; about as good as any no name case you will find at your local music store. However where this product completely fails is the hardware: latches feel flimsy and are glued on instead of screwed in place; interior nylon strap is already visibly frayed. I am a hobbyist, but if I were a gigging musician, I would not put much faith in the durability of this product, in fact, if not for the steep return cost involved, I would probably send this thing back pronto. There are simply better alternatives out there.My advice for Ultra VI and Hellcat VI owners is to try any generic P Bass (these guitars are too big for short scale) case at your local music store before buying this one. It will probably cost less and you will not be disappointed in the quality as I was.

Really happy with this case. My Schecter Stargazer required this case due to its irregular shape, so I had to get this one... but it also fits my Fender P-bass, so no matter what style I'm playing, I can use this case! Nice interior and solid construction.

Will this fit my session riot bass guitar ?

Case is excellent.. Could use better latches. The old twist locking type would be much better. But overall, quality is good..

This case appears to fit both Left-Handed (which I play) and Right-Handed Bass Guitars. It's a beautiful case and is well made with lots of room for cables, extra strings, 9V batteries, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
