Great Value Gaming monitor
Pros:Only $200 as of writing this.144hz refresh rate1ms response time8 pre configured monitor profilesCons:No built in speakerThis Acer Nitro 24 inch monitor is a great steal for its value and quality. Many monitors with these specs cost well into the $300 range, but Acer captures all the needs of the modern 1080p gamer for only $200. I love the 144hz refresh rate. I've only ever used 60hz monitors and let me say 144hz definitely makes a difference when it comes to gaming. I played GTA V on this monitor side by side my old 60hz monitor and the image quality was astoundingly more sleek and defined. The monitor also has an eco feature which dims the brightness and makes colors easier on the eyes as you game late into the night. Another reason I went with this monitor is because of the reputation Acer has for good quality monitors. Other gaming monitors competing in this price range try and offer the same specs but do so at the cost of quality. I've had this monitor two months now and my brother who bought a Scepter brand monitor is already noticing dead pixels. The only downside I can think of for this monitor is its lack of a built in speaker. For some people this may be a deal breaker, but you can honestly pick up $10 speakers on Amazon that would have the same quality audio as traditional built in speakers (which is what I did). With all this in mind I expect to keep this monitor in use for the next several years until 4k gaming becomes a more realistic option for the casual gamer. Definitely worth the money.

Great Color, No Issues
I've had this monitor for a little over a year now I think (maybe 2?). So far so good. Great to have high FPS in games. No dead pixels, no coil whine, no backlight bleed (at least that my basic eyes can distinguish). The menu system and buttons are pretty standard these days, but very easy to use and comprehensive compared to other/old monitors. I actually found myself using the cross hair overlay in some games (mostly ones that don't have a crosshair by default). I watch shows/movies as well and the picture quality as well as the color quality are very good (again from what my basic eyes can discern).

Best 200 dollar 144hz monitor out there
This monitor definitely doesn't disappoint. Great levels of brightness, amazing looking screen, adjustable in many different ways, sturdy stand, wall mount compatible, and 144 hz is amazing. I've tried many 200 dollar 144 hz monitors out there and this one was the best so far. I've tried BenQ, Dell, Sony (60 hz tho), and Sceptre. Out of all those this one excels in everything from looks to the actual screen. The change from 144 hz from 60 hz was definitely needed and u'll definitely feel the difference. I bought a Sony monitor with my first gaming computer and it was a huge disappointment, with 60 hz, a crappy stand, and horrible color for 250 bucks! This is 200 and it has way better specs plus its just straight better. BenQ is a solid company but it just didn't have the look or feel i liked, dell is dell idk what else to say, sony is absolute crap, and acer is wow. Acer obviously is a solid company with lots of customer support and very helpful employees if you need help. If your looking for a budget 144hz monitor this is definitely the way to go!

A first ever on amazon at 24in 144hz and IPS. It does the job well enough
Sorry, I don't really have a solid suggestion with color calibration. You would probably have to wait for the results from pro monitor reviewers such as rtings(.)com and othersPros:- No dead pixels on arrival (this varies from customer to customer)-Freesync works when Overdrive is on normal, not on exteme- they have an analog stick that adjust your monitor settings-IPS at 144hz 1080p at 24in is delightful (why this monitor is getting most of the points)-VESA compatible-Better than TN and VA panels (colors don't look as vibrant compared to IPS)-HDMI 2.0 is okayish-colors out the box is acceptableCons:-The monitor build is cheap and a bit flimsy, but this is where acer cut corners so it is more a budget friendly build at 144hz- Overdrive at Extreme does NOT work when Freesync is enabled (my experience, maybe different for you)- NO SWIVEL or HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS ON STAND- its a 6 bit + FRC panel with only 250 cd/m2 brightness (but I don't notice significant color depletion)- Gamer aesthetic is a tad much, personal preference though.-Does not come with DisplayPort cable-IPS bleeding (but that is just predisposition of IPS panels, not really a con if you know what IPS issues are)-When VRB is enabled at normal or at extreme the brightness substantially decreases. The real rating is a 3.5 if I had the optionEven with multiple shortcomings (more cons than pros) I feel that acer did a decent job with this budget friendly monitor because the main selling point of this monitor (IPS 24in 144hz) does its job well enough to overlook the issues this monitor has , if color accuracy is what you want at 24in 144hz IPS monitor, then you have to wait.

The best value gaming monitor
Out of the box, the monitor is overly bright and the gamma is off a bit. Once you correct that, this monitor has insane image quality, contrast, brightness, and of course response time. I am able to overclock the monitor to 165hz in Windows display settings and confirm that it is indeed smoooooooth in games. For the money, I see absolutely no issues. Oh and I don't see any dead/stuck pixels at all.I can't comment on the stand because I'm using the VIVO V002 vesa mount.
